Guardianfell is like any Fell-verse a kill or be killed world, with an exception though. If you are strong you can become a Guardian and create a mark to place on your wards. A guardian is a monster whose strength is recognized by King Asgore. A ward is a monster who has a guardians protection. A mark is a symbol placed on the soul of a ward to show that they are protected and not to be touched. A guardian may have as many wards as they want though most won't have more that 5 at a time. If another monster harms a guardians ward the guardian may kill them without fear of retribution. Anyone without a mark is still fair game to be killed though. There are seven Guardians, King Asgore, Toriel, Papyrus, Myriad, Undyne, Muffet, and Grillby. The Guardians each have their own territory where their word is "law" and the other Guardians must abide by it. Except for the King of course. A Guardian cannot harm another's ward even if they are in their own territory. Toriel's is the Ruins, Papyrus's is Snowdin, Grillby's is the bar, Undyne's is Waterfall, Muffet's is Hotland and all the bake sales, Myriad's is the Judgment hall and it's off-shooting living quarters (added rooms for Myriad and their wards to live in), and King Asgore's is the whole underground. Flowey is docile. Flowey is not Asriel. Flowey has a soul. I think that's all for now? Idk I'll update this later if I remember more stuff.

So you wanna know about Myriad? Okay! Well first off Myriad Sans Serif is, as the name probably tells you, Guardianfell's "Sans". Myriad and this AU's Papyrus were created in Gaster's Lab. But Myriad and papyrus were not created at the same time. Papyrus was created with the first "Sans" but that "Sans" died in the incubation tube. Gaster experimented on Papyrus to see what happened to him that caused his formation but not the others. And so he kept making more "Sanses". One day Gaster decided to test one last theory. He filled the tube with pure magic and the partially broken soul of the last "Sans", then he put in two drops of pure, undiluted determination. At first nothing happened but a few hours later the soul had stopped dying and was held together by strings of red magic. The soul then became encased in a crystal of green magic. Then came the body, a skeleton resembling Sans but also not Sans, their form had been altered by the determination. This skeleton had horns and wings. And they were alive! Finally, Gaster's patience had come to fruition. Their testing would begin as soon as possible. But, the bonds that should have formed between them and Papyrus, the ones that would have kept them in a more stable frame of mind, were never formed. Papyrus hated Myriad because Gaster was more focused on them than on him, and while normally that would have been a good thing, Myriad got praised for good work and though Papyrus was older and had more control, he got compared to them for most everything. Papyrus would never call them his sibling. Myriad and Papyrus left the labs after Gaster fell into the core. They went their separate ways Papyrus towards Snowdin and Myriad towards the Castle. They do not interact much with each other outside of Royal Guard meetings.
