Fine, then don’t.  I don’t care to know.  Do you.  -agitated- Have I ever lied to you?  Okay, so?  What does that have to do with anything.  I know what I feel and what I like and Casey Duncan and her airhead posse isn't it.  -shakes head- Nah, you got it.  I'm not your father or your boss so wear whatever.  -presses lips- Right.  Best friend.  -looks at phone- I have to go. -lies- My mom needs me to do something and I forgot. Sam I just… -her voice trailed off as she hesitated before speaking- I don’t know what it is Sam I really just don’t know so how can I possibly tell you what this is. He has been a jackass 80 percent of the time I have known him but recently he has been really nice. -rolls eyes- Move out of my way Samuel! And fyi I saw you admiring Casey in a similar dress so when you say inappropriate for me you really mean that I am not the kind of girl who should be wearing it right? Because I don’t look like the other girls at school. -turns away from him to look at another rack- You know I actually do like him. A lot actually. -mumbles- better than you at the moment.

But there is a something? -sighs heavily- So it's someone at school, that is a jerk.  That narrows it down to a few people.  -shakes head- Nevermind I don't want to know.  -screws face- Really?  Don't lie on me Mercedes.  You've never seen me eyeing Casey.  If I were it was because I was wondering how someone so vain could exist.  -grunts- You're ridiculous.  Don't put words in my mouth either. -frustrated- God, I hate when you do that. I said what I said because you aren't like the other girls at school, you're better.  -rolls eyes- Whatever.

You might know him I mean we all go to the same school… -voice trails off as she is admiring a dress- Are you sure? I mean we aren’t really talking like that…we are more just hanging out. -she held the low cut, halter, above the knee dress up to her frame and frows as he grabs it- Sam what the hell? Why not this one?

I might know him?? -annoyed-  Which means I do and you're doing that thing where you're dodgy.  Which means it's someone you know I'm going to judge you about.  Hanging out doesn't require a new dress.  -blocks her from picking another dress- One, that dress was way too inappropriate for you.  Secondly, why a dress?  Why not jeans and a big long sweater.  C, do you even like this guy?

Just some guy at school its not even that big of a deal. -she frowns- Just okay? Let me find something else then. -she turns and starts going through the rack- So how was practice are you ready for your meet?
