This is #OttamThullal, centuries-old #Traditional #TempleArt performed in #Kerala. Usually theme of the show will be a satirical criticism of various things in society, I believe such performances really influenced the outlook and receptiveness to criticism of local people.

The sad state of waste management in #Kerala. Here waste disposal/management means moving it from one place to another, dumping in rivers and random places or (as you can see) to shove it down the throat of waste bins like these. It's a pity even in these times we don't have proper waste disposal systems.

That's my colleague Ishan, in the middle of the night, wandering at the #Trivandrum Domestic Airport Terminal. Poor chap had to catch a flight early morning at 7 but he was little expecting that the enlighted-educated working class keralites will call for transport strike out of nowhere. I had to drop him at airport in the midnight thinking he can stay there and catch the flight instead of searching for a transportation on the day of strike. Only that day I came to know this place is worse than an average railway station where you will find at least a lounge/room to spend the night. Thanks to the people of #Kerala and Airports Authority of India, I heard he spent the rest of night outside the airport in the company of local dogs.
