what if you invited me to stay in a haunted house that you rented for a week and it was us and 2 other people and it was the first time i felt belonging ever and then half the time i still felt othered but it was such a welcomed change from the monotony id dealt with before that i didnt even mind. and what if there was this knock at each door that shook the foundations of the house and we all sat in our rooms and didnt open our doors and what if the house said to help me get home and what if the house cried for me to get home and what if i ran and danced through the house and knew the house was my home and then i became the knock at each door and none of you opened your doors and what if then you realized i was missing and what if you found me trying to go deeper into the house and what if you carried me away from the door nailed shut and what if you sent me away and told me to go home and i laughed in your face and what if you said it was important that i forgot everything and went home immediately and what if instead of driving away down the road i drove into a tree and killed myself. what then
