GRILLBY'S

Fire suddenly envelops the peanut bowls around their bar!

Huh. The ask mailbox is on fire.

They haven’t gone anywhere.

A nod of the head.

They take it and square it away, offering a gracious smile to the other.

They take it - of course - and tally it away, before preparing up a small bag of food, fresh, to go.

There’s a little bundle in the box, aside from the food, with 100G inside.

...It wasn’t every day Grillby saw something or someone new.

The last time that came to mind was... t̸̴̵̸̗͐̀ẖ̵̶̵̷̷̷̷̷̴̭ͮ̑̑͌ͧ̚ë̶̷̵̷̸̵̶̶͎̰͍̹̺́͜m̶̷̴̶̶̶̪͉̖͕͝

Grillby rolls a pen between their fingers on one hand, graciously taking the money in the other.

Stretches.

Rolls up their sleeves.

Flares up a little to start moving.

Rolls their shoulder.

“*Of course she leaves a tip.” He mused, swishing his tails at the thought of how sweet that child was.

Rocco happily sips from the silly straw, despite being a grown monster himself. If that’s how Poppy likes it then, who was he to decide otherwise. That and, my goodness, it was delicious!

“*Mmmmmmm, I can see why Poppy loves this. It’s so good! Thanks again, Grillby!”

A small pop of fire from one hand to the other as Grillby gave a small twirl on their heel. Very flashy. They’re proud of their ability to make foods! Although they also have to resist the urge to pat the fox on his head. Small... Enticed a pet. Especially with the kids who came in...

Grillby disappeared into the back before returning with a basket of fries for him as they gave in, patting Rocco right on the head. They’d let out a happy noise, but they don’t like making noise. So instead, it’s a smile on their face.

“*Hey Grillby!” Rocco chimed, struggling as always to hop up onto a stool to sit down. Why weren’t there stools that were made for just his size?

Although the tiny fox still had his armor on, he was barely able to peek his head out. Maybe he should of dropped it off at home before coming over. Ah well. Nothing he could do about it now.

“*For once, not up for coffee. Uhhhh…can I try a milkshake today, Grillbz? Lil’ Poppy mentioned peppermint milkshakes earlier this morning and that sounds wicked good right now!”

An excellent choice. Grillby never understood what people loved about coffee - it smelled all right, sure, but maybe it’s that they were basically always with energy... A small shrug. Grillby would then whip up a peppermint milkshake for the little fox, putting an umbrella in it with a silly straw, and put it in front of the other.

Then, of course, a swirl of whipped cream on top, and a cherry.

A studied gaze for a few moments...
