For this project I needed to learn about RAW images then edit one.  First I adjusted the white balance, as you can see it started out looking very blue so I needed to make it more realistic.  I also needed to increase the exposure, but not so much that I made the image look too bright.  I also adjusted the Recovery, Fill Light and black sliders to make the image look more natural.  The hue and saturation also needed to be adjusted.  I also retouched the image to take out any spots and the unsightly trashcan buried under the snow and branches.

For this project I needed to create a webpage for the fictional company Heavenly Explorers.  I was provided a variety of photos containing images of space and needed to decide how to design the webpage then make it basically functional.  I made the title "Heavenly Explorers" and used the inner shadow and outer glow effects using colors from my background image.  For each of the navigation words I used the same outer glow effects as the title.  I chose three images from the space collection given to me and lined them up on the bottom of the page and put a 5 pixel stroke on each of them using a color from the background.  Once I had my webpage looking the way I wanted I began to use the slice and slice selection tool to make it into a functional webpage.  I ended up with a simple but attractive webpage.

For this project I needed to add image filters to a photo.  First I made the layer containing the image a smart object.  Once that was finished I went to the filter gallery and tried out many different filters to see what looked best and found two filters (watercolor and palette knife).  After I adjusted the image filters and applied a layer mask and made it so the barn was the only element of the image that did not have a filter on it so it would stand out.

For this project I used the Action tool to record all my actions in Photoshop.  To make all my adjustments I used adjustment layers so I would not ruin my original image.  The adjustment layers I used were: Levels, Curves, Selective Color, and Hue/Saturation.  In the levels adjustment layer I moved the grey tab to the left and the black tab to the right, so I ended up with; Black: 65, Grey: 1.56 and White: 255.  In the curves adjustment layer I used a preset called Medium Contrast (RGB).  For the selective color adjustment layer I adjusted the red selection and ended up with; Cyan: +10, Magenta: -20, Yellow: +50, and Black: +70.  For my hue/saturation adjustment layer I adjusted so my levels were; Hue: 0, Saturation: +27, and Lightness: -20.

In this image I needed to straighten the horizon, edits the corners once the image was rotated, get rid of the small lighthouse, and edit the image so it did not look so gloomy.  To do this I used Photoshop.  I used the ruler tool to straighten the image so the horizon was horizontal.  To fix the corners I used the content aware tool.  To get rid of the small lighthouse to used the clone stamp, content aware tool and the spot healing brush.

I needed to remove the flower pot bowl from the image and make it look natural.  To do this I used clone stamp, spot healing brush, and content aware in Photoshop.

In this image there is a street bike rider that is behind two other riders, I removed him so only the racers in the front will be visible without making the image look unnatural.  To do this I used the clone stamp and spot healing brush in Photoshop.
