Sometimes it's really really really important to remember that you just cut up a jalapeno and even though you washed your hands twice it's still a danger when your eye itches and you need to use the other hand or at the very least your pinky instead...

what is the best way to wash that out of your eyes?

Best thing to do is to avoid rubbing it and use artificial tears or a sterile saline rinse to flush it away. We don't advise milk because that can increase your risk of an eye infection
