Dylan OâBrien - talked about taking native artifacts in filming his movie (later turned out to be a joke but shitty anyway), and joked that taking said artifacts caused a curse
Vanessa Hudgens - desecrated sacred rocks by carving her and austin butlerâs names into them and posting it on her instagram account which the punishment of a fine led to many just deciding to poke fun at the tribe, called herself pocahontas which is really shitty when you consider the true kidnapping/child rape story of the real pocahontas/matoaka, and more appropriation of natives and more
Omeretta The Great - havenât seen her used/have resources yet which is good because she sexualized native women/participated in redface/called herself pocahontas and her and her defenders dismissed native women who called her out (read the replies on linked tweet)
Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian: putting them together because theyâre basically together, khloeâs:Â a shit ton of appropriation, braided her hair and put it on instagram saying she was now native because of it; kourtneyâs: wore a nude dress and called herself pocahontas

Alessandra Ambrosio: appropriation, has also done appropriation with her young daughter (racists like to start âem young)
Karlie Kloss: appropriation/oversexualization of native women in VSFSÂ (note Victoriaâs Secret as a company has since apologized, though it was a dismissive apology at best)
Zayn Malik: has a half-assed tipi in his backyard
Snoop Dogg: made up a fake tribe to wear a headdress and say he was the chief of it
Basically the entire cast of âThe Ridiculous Sixâ (including Adam Sandler, Terry Crews, Jorge Garcia, Taylor Lautner, and more because you can look at the IMDb page): Featured such shitty native stereotypes that they refused to amend that the cultural advisor and many native actors/actresses walked off set, none of the stars have renounced the movie and the shit it didÂ
And just a quick run down of non natives who have taken native roles: Ruth Negga (Ruth is half Ethiopian and half Irish and has recently played Mildred Loving in Loving, but Mildredâs family have stated repeatedly she was a Native American woman with no Black or White ancestry and are offended by her portrayal in the film), Rooney Mara (Rooney is Irish, Italian, French, and German but she played the filled-with-stereotypes-but-still-Blackfoot character of Tiger Lily in the 2015 film Pan), Blake Lively (not a character role but was casted in a LâOreĂĄl âdiversityâ commercial for being Cherokee, when she has no Cherokee or otherwise native heritage), Mizuo Peck (most famous for playing Sacagawea, a Shoshone woman, in the Night at the Museum franchise, but she is half Japanese and half English and Irish), Kelsey Chow/Asbille (has been casted as the main native girl in Yellowstone recently, and appeared as the native rape/murder victim in Wind River, but while sheâs claimed Eastern Band of Cherokee they have officially stated she is not a member of or descended of any current or past members of the Cherokee tribe, sheâs just half Taiwanese-Chinese and half English yâall), Jane Krakowski (she is Polish, French, and Scottish but plays the Lakota Sioux character of Jacqueline/Jackie Lynn White in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Taylor Lautner (is just English, Swiss, German, French, and Dutch and has no native heritage, as confirmed by his co-stars, but played the Quileute character of Jacob Black in the Twilight saga), Tinsel Korey (Really an Indian-from-India-Indian named Harsha Patel, but played the Makah character of Emily Young in the Twilight saga), Johnny Depp (he is English, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, French, Dutch, Belgian, German, and 3/2048 Unspecified African but played the Unspecified Native American tribe (though the real person who inspiration was taken from was Muskogee so maybe Muskogee) character of Tonto in the 2013 film The Lone Ranger), and Iâm only listing living people here but thereâs a lot of Old Hollywood dead people who have (Iron Eyes Cody, Rock Hudson, Henry Brandon, Audrey Hepburn, and Burt Lancaster, to name a few) and probably missing a lot.
