happy if you have scholarly inclinations there is usually something wrong with your sexuality july
all the rights that come with marriage you should be able to have without marriage btw. you should be able to designate a person who can visit you in the hospital regardless of your relationship to that person.
wait wait wait
hold on
is that the porno kitchen
of "this is a kitchen pran not a porno" fame?
@hyeoni-comb just want to bring this to your attention
I feel like simply calling JK Rowling a transphobe isn't strong enough anymore. Like. This is not your grandpa calling you by your deadname at a restaurant kind of transphobic. This is her wanting to eradicate all trans people (with an extra special hatred towards trans women specifically). This is her trying just that by personally funding transphobic hate groups with millions to push around laws in the UK. It is not hyperbolic to call her a dangerous, genocidal maniac.
It's not about cancelling a problematic writer. It's about literally trying to save lives by denying her as much money and power as possible.
white queers are always so damned certain that "true" queerness is for them & them alone. expressions of queerness from Black people (most notably, Black women & those percieved as women) that don't center whiteness & aren't tailored for white audiences are always, always pegged as being unbelievable. all this plus a heaping dose of thay classic "all bi women are dirty attention seeking liars" brand of biphobia. fuck off man
#truly go to helllll#i have NOT forgotten nor forgiven the white dykes losing their minds over that clip of megan flirting with lil miami#literally looked at another woman giggling and kicking her feet and said “i'd top if we had sex”#and all these demons in the replies were like “no queer woman would ever talk about sex this way!!!!”#and do you all recall the suspicion aimed @ janelle 'appropriating' queerness when they dropped dirty computer?#I think about it every damn day#AND cardi having to clap some kid on twitter about how she was eating pussy before they were born?#y'all truly hate queer black women who don't fit the mold of soft uwu cottagecore white girl pining so much ( @batmanisagatewaydrug )
I’m gonna talk my shit rq:
The idea of bi women’s queerness is a state of limbo between lesbian and straight is some weird ass shit. Last month, I saw someone on twitter/shitter/x that Billie Ellish’s songs about admiring women felt forced and objectifying. It seems that the queer community has a tendency to view bisexuality in women has a nonexistent plane or forced like straight women have to walk to please men. Yall will scream from the roof tops “Sexuality and queerness are a journey of self discovery” until the person is a bi women and it gets worse if she’s BIPOC. Yall can’t seem to free yourself from the notion that bisexuality in women is dangerous or just a form of temptation for queer women and straight men. Yall are weird.
And another thing:
the purity culture shit in the sapphic community gotta stop. Idk bout yall but I’ve heard queer women talking about wanting to fuck. Not this hyper romanticized image of braiding flower crowns and frolicking in the grass. Like full blown, raunchy, kinky sex. Sapphic & lesbian sex arent these dirty concepts only meant for men’s viewing pleasure. Queer women like to fuck each other and they like to talk about it. That Megan and Lil Miami clip did LAPS in the blk community. We love Megan as a sapphic artist over here.
“I want dykes!”
“Not those ones.”

They’re good dykes, Brent.

I miss when ads were a single click and then they’re gone. Now every ad has a minimum of three phases where you watch a video, exit the still frame of fake gameplay, and then exit the app download. That doesn’t even touch on the ones that forcibly take you to another app after opening a tab in safari without you ever touching the screen.
I hate advertising. I hate that you can’t do anything without companies jumping down your throat with mostly bullshit ads. I hate that billboards exist. I hate that every company unanimously decided to make their ads longer and longer. I hate that ad blockers try to charge you money and there are in app purchases to remove ads. I hate that my attention has become commodified. I hate that there’s nothing I can do about it.
Tag Game: Fave of Faves
Rules: Pick 10 of your favourite actors (or however many you want) and then pick your fav performance from each one
tagged by @my-rose-tinted-glasses (here). thanks for tagging me! 💜
okay, so:
this is not limited to ql because otherwise I wouldn't have even 5 actors to list lmao. (I have a great appreciation and admiration for acting. I just don't typically follow specific actors or often choose what to watch based on who's in it.)
I didn't realize that "actors" could be gender-specific in this case because I have a tendency to use the term "actor" for anyone of any gender. by the time I realized, I'd already made my list so it is what it is.
extra context on my picks: I've only chosen actors who I've seen in 2+ shows/movies. as a base, I'm always interested in an actor's ability to add depth to a character and express/convey emotion. then, when it comes to this category of "fave" actor, the thing I look for (and maybe admire most) is an actor's ability to embody a character and bring a role to life. so for a lot of my picks, these are actors who I've seen play multiple characters and each characters felt different and/or distinct to me.
now, my choices (in alphabetical order lol):
Choi Woo Shik in Our Beloved Summer
I have a feeling most people probably know him from the horror films he's been in (like Parasite and Train to Busan - both of which he was amazing in). I chose Our Beloved Summer because I love this drama and also because I appreciate his emotional range in it. in particular, I liked getting to see him in really lighthearted, comical scenes for a change but his character, Choi Woong, also embodies this quiet sadness, angst, and fear.
First Kanaphan in Not Me
choosing Not Me because this was the role that had me convinced of his acting skills. I haven't even rewatched it since I saw it in 2022, but I remember I having big feelings about Yok (like charmed and devastated lmao).
Junior Panachai in My Romance Scammer
dude, I felt like I was swooning (and sometimes getting scammed) right along with Pai while watching this series lolol. but on a more serious note, I think Junior does a great job at adding depth to his characters and bringing them to life. and I appreciate how different Tim The Scammer and Tim irl were from one another. like, we could immediately tell when he put on his Tim-boyfriend-extraordinaire persona during that one dinner with Pai. and I think it's Junior's willingness and ability to give his characters additional depth that saved the story arch about Tim and his parents in this show for me, because without the work he put into it that conclusion would have felt even more unsatisfying.
Keen Suvijak in Muteluv: "Hi" by My Luck
this pick is a combination of my soft spot for Keen + how much potential I feel like he has as an actor. I feel like every time I see him he gets better and better. so far, my favorite series he's been in is muteluv.
Kim Da-Mi in Itaewon Class
this was my first introduction to Kim Da-Mi and it was an impactful one for me. the way she carried herself in this role gave her character presence. I felt Jo Yiseo's confidence and conviction through the screen. I also liked watching Yiseo's character development, and (iirc) Kim Da-Mi did a good job of adjusting her acting to age with her character in the drama.
Park Eun Bin in Do You Like Brahms?
Park Eun Bin is. so. expressive. I can't 😭 she was like the first actor that came to mind for me. and her playing Chae Song-Ah, one of my all-time-favorite introverted characters? I think it takes talent to play a quiet, restrained character in an expressive sort of way that portrays the richness of that character and I personally feel like Park Eun Bin did that so well in this drama.
Park Gyu Young in Dali and the Cocky Prince
this drama was what put Park Gyu Young on my radar. tbh, I don't remember a lot about the show since I watched it like 5 years ago. I remember thinking she had emotional range because she did so well with various tones and scenes, from humorous to lovey-dovey to fierce to heartbreaking. (iirc, I liked the acting more than I liked the drama.) and after watching her in this drama, I realized I'd seen her before in support roles in other dramas and never realized she was the same actor even though I liked those side characters! that's one of my favorite moments: when someone is so good at acting and embodying a character that I don't even realize it's the same actor for a second.
