Taking a break from tumblr. Another time! Like adventure time...

Armed with only the interpretation of our past, we are left adrift on a river of future outcomes. Our boat is the present and how it stays afloat intrigues me. The fog in front of me is less thick than what I had when I was in college. How to act, learning more about my work ethic, and my tastes in the arts were big concerns. Now my concerns are maintaining balance, reading more, and caring less to invaluable concerns. I spent years wondering who I am and now I just accept me as is; a changing and similarly consistent crazy person. The idea of reaching my goals has taught me that time places itself where it wants. Learning about principles, like the scarcity principle, is insightful. It says that we go after things that are limited. This allows us to value them more, which in turn validates our methods in obtaining them. This reinforces our behaviours and in a way makes us predictable. A beautiful tragedy within our human form. Habituation is the new vice; consistency being common and lacking glamour. I am content with being predictable. It would be hard for me to force upon myself inconsistent behavior. Going to a party and hitting on a girl is unlike me. This year will be for enlightenment by means of healthy expansion. Perhaps less tumblr will be the first change. Back to photography and less monologues.

Happy 25th! Always at those opening moments on my birthday! What's next? Getting better with age, like wine. One year closer towards being able to yell at kids to get off my damn yard. Damn kids these days. 25... Hmm... Shots? 25 proof? I'm the old little toaster.

Things are going well, but I feel a light pressure in my chest. Do you know the feeling of a deep sigh just wanting to come out? That's what it is. It isn't mass sadness, but it is cloudy. I am eager to be 25. I can't wait to decorate and invest in me.
