What is this tiny little gecko, you ask? A hatchling mourning gecko!
While small and unassuming, these are actually an incredibly fascinating species--they are all females! Yes, all of them. Well, males *do* exist, but they are very rare and infertile. They lay two pea-sized eggs every 1-2 months, which hatch out into tiny inch-long geckos as shown above.
