As ABBA was never represented by a single record label worldwide, it also meant that the visual design of their records varied between countries, sometimes wildly so. The LPs mostly had a uniform look, but you'll be lucky to find two identical single designs!

After the official ABBA logo was introduced in 1976, the single covers became more alike across the board – a bit more tame and cookie cutter, you could say. I think some of that came about from the flowery, colorful, "groovy" design style of the late 1960s and early 1970s giving way to a more simple, "industrial" look. (I've always been a fan of the former, if you couldn't tell :D)

Imo the most interesting of these is the last one from Japan, which was a promotional single given as a prize in a Coca-Cola competition. They used an image from the "Gracias Por La Musica" Spanish album photoshoot as a base and... *squints* re-drew it? With new re-colored outfits? I think that's what happened here. Björn especially looks markedly different from the original photo ↓. Gotta respect the low-key absurdity of it all.
