I like imagining August as more shadow-like and toony, partially because that's what I think when I hear anything involving shadow-y creatures and partially because I thought it'd look interesting like this!! I also like to imagine that (in my version) he by default doesn't seem to have arms, but can extend a part of his body and make it look and work as an arm!!
