progress on the lettering piece. i was excited to use my new gifted tabletop easel so i didnt check the contrast between the positive and negative space.

i changed the textures of two letters that were too dark. gonna darken the negative space around that one "E". might test some other options for improving contrast digitally before applying more paint. i wanted to push against my urge to paint a solid black background, which easily makes the positive space pop.

having a traced copy of the letters helps because i can see myself returning to this design in other forme later.

HEY YALL!! its aster (he/him) and im opening up commissions again, this time with NEW pricing and tiers!! I've lightened the options to keep it short and sweet and to minimize artistic (and autistic) burnout.

I currently do not make enough money at my job to afford to live (Long. Fucking. Story.), so commissioned art is my supplementary income for the time being! While I'm working on projects like my PWYW illustration collection and putting my illustrations up on my redbubble as prints, I'm doing these in the meantime for money.

I'm gonna take 5 slots for now, first come first served. (3/5 FILLED)

AS ALWAYS, BOOSTING IS HUMONGOUS!!! I'm broke as fuck and got bills n shit, so getting visibility on my post means more potential customers which means more potential groceries!! if you can't afford art (i cant!), then boosting is just as valuable, honest to goodness.
