Psalms 18:2 (NASB) “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Psalm 18 is a song of thanksgiving. David wrote it to give thanks to the Lord for saving him from Saul. David is so grateful to the Lord for protecting him, and he calls the Lord his fortress and his shield. What a beautiful picture of God’s protection and love for us!

I used to worry a lot; Worrying and thinking too much of a situation I cannot change and it  even makes me more worried and fearful the more I put all of my thoughts in it. And before I knew it, everyone and everyhing around me starts to follow and fall apart. But God must have love me that much that I don’t know how Amazingly God protected me all my life. And as I continue knowing God, day by day learning His every word, I became more brave enough to face every circumstances I am in. Why?? Isn’t it God had given Jesus Christ to be our shield and protector to all of these circumstances? I tell you this, there is no more greater protector than Jesus Christ, there is no more greater love than the love God is giving to us. We only have to believe, ask and pray.
