F it, I'm Making A Studyblr

Next exam: basics of Sociology (aka the exam I flunked in first semester that’s been haunting my narrative ever since)

Currently studying for my absolute nightmare exam that’s hung over my head like the sword of Damocles since the first semester bc I've never had the guts to actually pull through with it. First semester introduction to sociology … other people are scared of statistics. I'm scared of the exam that I just have to memorize a lot of information for. I could have it so easy. Make it make sense. I‘m creating one anki set after the other, hoping I'll still get to look at them at least once before the exam in ten days. Also, I should be working on this group paper my group has to finish by the beginning of April, but this exam comes first so I just like to pretend that the paper doesn’t even exist lol

Was at the book store the other day trying to decide what to get with the Christmas gift card I got. I lend wild dark shore from my library since then so I think I'll go for a cook book. Does anyone have any good recs for Vegan cookbooks?

Photo dump of the month of December. I was busy enjoying the holidays so I kind of went mia here on this acc. Also, I just didn’t study much in general over the winter break. My sister came over and we had a great time as a family. She and her boyfriend gifted me these cute teddy socks. Between the years, I challenged myself to read 8 more books, including this one I got in London last year, to hit my reading goal and I completed that challenge.

Worked some more on the presentation and read a bit more in the last book of the emily wilde series. I gotta say my opinion on it has waned quite a bit. I set myself a challenge that I want to finish reading ten more books this December so I can finish my overall reading goal for the year. That‘s why I really force myself to read by the end of every day now. At this point, I‘m kind of hopeful that I‘ll achieve my goal. Has anyone here read the series?

Its the second advent here and my dad finally allowed me to eat some of the jam filled cookies he made today, but only the broken ones lol. The rest has to be saved for Christmas Eve. Eating them and drinking an evening coffee and working on summarizing a part of a paper about ethnic origin and gender based discrimination in German bureaucratic structures on the city level for a group presentation I am in the middle of preparing rn. Also eating this other snack from my organic snacks advent calender.

Forced myself to do late night work yesterday. I worked on this internship report that my university asks for in order to give you the credits for the mandatory six weeks internship of my degree. I did the internship months ago and have since been avoiding starting on the report like the plague bc the last time I had to write something for uni, it took a part of my soul with it that I haven’t regained since. But it’s time now. The report needs to be done, so done it will get. Eating waffles from the organic advent calendar a colleague of mine got me a hefty discount for.

Also, I bought myself a new mug while I went to the bookstore to pick up the third installment in the emily wilde series yesterday. Halfway through the book and I must say I‘m enjoying my time and I love love love the mug 💕
