You'd be waiting on the couch, waiting for her to get back from work. You never really saw her in her uniform, not because she didn't wear it. But because your job required you to get back home later at night. And you were rarely over at Gracie's.

But you'd taken a day off, deciding to stay over at her place. you were asleep when Gracie had left to work, preventing you from seeing her in the uniform.

You didn't really think of it, not really. You didn't think of the option of her in her own uniform. Ironically.

You didn't think it was possible for someone to look 'more' hot just because of a police uniform, you never even thought that in general.

But oh boy were you wrong.

You hear the keys rattling at the door, a smile illuminating your face knowing Gracie was back from work. You both were still at the lovey dovey level of your relationship, although you weren't really sure if that level could ever go away. Anyways.

You sit up slightly at your couch ready to pull her down with you when she comes in.

"babe?" She calls out, knowing you're still here.

"in the living room" as she walks in

"hey love-" but your brain starts working, suddenly everything is in slow motion and you cannot think straight anymore, she's smiling, her mouth moving slowly, while yours was open, in...? You didn't know in what. Shock? Attraction? Yeah probably the latter.

Your eyes trail down her body without meaning to, the half sleeved navy button up shirt holding, fitting her perfectly.

Those black protective gloves that you had no idea what the fuck they were called; you never cared, never thought you would, not until now.

On her belt there's a gun placed next to a handcuff, just like that as if that's the most normal thing ever.

You gulp. Maybe that is the most normal thing ever for an officer but you just never expected it on gracie, your gracie.

She calls your name, making you snap back up to her face; that's not laced with confusion and a hint of concern.

"are you okay?" She asks her eyebrows furrowed.

Oh.

Her edges we're sticking to her forehead, from the sweat probably, her hair is messy from the... Police hat maybe?

"you didn't tell me you.." you trailed off, your mind clearly not processing.

She squints her eyes at you, looks at your crossed legs that you didnt't realized were doing that, then back at your eyes. Realizing what this may be about.

"...that I'm wearing my job uniform?" She says it slow, like she's trying to peice it together, her mouth tugging upwards at the sight.

You clear your throat and look away, your face heating up in everyway you didn't think it was possible.

You were having a lot of realizations today.

She finds it endearing. really, she takes off her gloves setting it somewhere on the coffee table Infront of the couch before crossing the distance to sit besides you, her hands carrying you effortlessly onto her lap.

"I missed you and that's how you greet me?" She teases, leaning to kiss you.

You kiss her, not denying her ofcourse.

"i thought they made you guys take it off at work?" The uniform, you meant. pulling away playing with the now lose tie around her neck. It's so fucking hot.

Her hands stay on your waist, she shakes her head.

"you can take it off if you want to, but I just wanted to see you" she states. Simply. Very simply. Like it didn't make your stomach do a million jump per second.

"Gracie Abrams you are going to be the death of me" you hide your face in the crook of her neck, embaresment flushing your face.

She tsks you and squeezes your waist making you look back at her. She has an advantage now.

"i didn't know you'd have such a.. strong reaction" she laughs softly "if I knew I would have worn it every day"

"i didn't know either okay! God forbid a girl sees her girlfriend in the most hottest clothes ever"

She rolls her eyes at your words.

You both sit for a while, your still on her lap, she hadn't changed out, you argued with her when she said she needed to change. So no moving for her.

A movie was playing in the background, soft and not a single ounce of attention was given to it. Maybe gracie was paying attention you weren't. How would you?

"is the gun real?"

she looked at you like your stupid before laughing.

"of course it is"

before you can get shocked you gasped startling her.

"OH MY GOD can we make a TikTok please" you pause thinking of the audio.

"are you serio-" you cut her off

"the one that's like 'everybody knows that im a good girl officer' please"
