There are Worse Things I Could Do || Grace & Chloe

The low hum of whispers being exchanged followed the petite girl as she made her way down the stairs of the Delta house. Chloe was rarely one to accept invites from those outside of the sorority, yet caught in a moment of sheer boredom, the girl somehow found herself accepting Grace’s offer. Her curls were bounced with each step she took, her favourite pair of Louboutins clicking with each new step she took. Despite this being new to her, spending time with someone outside of the house, she wasn’t nervous in the slightest. Over the last several weeks, Chloe had heard a lot about Grace, she also ran into her at one too many parties, and now that they were on what could be assumed as a civil basis, going somewhere with the blonde was the next step. Her green eyes scanned over the car parked outside, Chloe scrunched her nose, not sure what she was expecting as she approached the vehicle. “And here I thought you’d be a few minutes late.” She said as she slipped into the car.

Restless fingertips tapped against the steering wheel as Grace waited for Chloe to come outside. It wasn't that the girl had taken any long amount of time, really, because she hadn't. In all reality, it had only been a few minutes before the sound of heels clacking on the pavement were heard outside of the car, but Grace's restless mood had made her, well... restless. So it seemed like forever, but she didn't let any of that show on her face as Chloe climbed into the car, only flashed the girl a grin before turning the keys in the ignition once more. Hearing Chloe's comment, Grace allowed a laugh to escape her lips before shaking her head. "No, I'm kind of looking forward to tonight," she admitted, returning her gaze to the road as she pulled away from the curb. "So I didn't think being late would get the night off to a good start, you know? You're all set though?"
