it is very bizarre that people seem to ignore the simple truth that men at large do not think that pedophilia and rape are morally reprehensible acts or deserve special attention. those are crimes typically committed against women and girls. with rape, men think that women exist to be penetrated. being penetrated is being defiled, being defiled is being violated, and as women are penetrated during consensual sex too, to them the rape of women is just not a big deal, because it's basically the same; females exist for that purpose, so what are they being so dramatic about?
with pedophilia, while not all men are pedophiles, a lot of them are; it is very normal, especially when the child is not pre-pubescent. they would certainly not be happy to let pedophiles prey upon their daughters - because they know what pedophiles think and want, because they all have male solidarity, but otherwise they don't care. it doesn't make a difference to them if their fellow men are into children or bondage, it's the same thing to them, and they will turn a blind eye. this is why pedo celebrities suffer no consequences over being outed, their audiences don't care.
not all men are rapists and not all of them are pedophiles, but it's not due to morality, it's more up to circumstances and preferences. the most they can muster is disgust with those who rape little boys, but it's because they hate homosexuality and can sympathize with the boys as they imagine themselves in their place; but even in those cases, most men will let it slide. publicly they act outraged about rape and pedophilia because not doing so is a social faux pas, but privately they don't see them as serious issues. regardless of culture, language or ethnicity. this is very obvious and common sense to me, but it doesn't seem to be the case for everyone.
