This one is a bit personal. I included it on my album because it wouldn’t be called Meraki if I didn’t put at least a little piece of me on it. Honestly, I was going through a bit of turmoil with my ex-girlfriend and it was the inspiration for this song. Some say that the best forms of creativity comes out of hardship. Well, they’re right! I was originally going to leave this as an instrumental, but as life goes on, things pop up and sometimes you just have to channel your emotions in whatever way you can.

Album coming Fall 2015

A MIDI composition I completed over two years ago but somehow set aside. I really had a lot of fun working with this video because it was something that I thought of as out of the ordinary for me. This was the first time I scored a video with orchestral music (even though it is MIDI).

An electronic composition I concocted in an advertising class. The electronic vibe was intentional but next time, my voice is going on there. 

This is an update of a track that I’ve had in production for a while now. A little bit mastermind, a little bit luck and a TON of procrastination. After tracking sessions with Nils Bultman (viola), and Kyle Patrick (stand–up bass), I’m at a rough stage in the creation process. I may need some feedback on this one to help me with direction. 

NIKE Commercial – Here is a little piece I’m real proud of. I replaced all the original audio with a MIDI composition that I put together towards the end of 2013. I think it came out better than the original. I bet NIKE would say so too.

NYE vibes... The last of 2014. After this, the sound is going to switch up dramatically. 

Sinister Dynamite – This was one of those tracks that just came to me in about 20 minutes. I don’t know what else to say except I think I was in a bit of a dark, angry place when I made it. Thanks to the man Jai Swift for being the featured artist on this. I’ll have the vocal track up here when I’m finished mastering the album.

Dissonant Dynamite: I literally made this beat in 15 minutes. I simply took a break beat, trimmed it down and layered a few easy loops over it. The change up came courtesy of my Maschine 2.0 sampler. I'm still not sure what's going to come of this, so I think it's going to go into my "maybe" pile.

Dynamite Jazz: This was one of my favorite peices to make. Obviously I was in a jazzy mood when I started on this venture. Thanks to my partner A Fact for rapping on this one at the last minute. It’s a short track but hey, sometimes big things come in small packages (insert joke here).

Dynamite Rhythm & Blues: A little R&B track I put together last May. I started out with a few stems, arranged them, added a few MIDI tracks with some TT samples (let's see if you can name them). I'm not sure if I'll be doing anymore slow r&b tracks in the future but hey, it is what it is right?

Dynamite Machine: This is a song I came across by Les Baxter, a composer from back in the day who came out with this dope ass track called Hogin Machine. So I sampled it, put the beat in the center, put a few MC's over it, scratched a little here and there, sandwiched it between the actual track and threw some Gene Wilder in the beginning and end... Classic!!!
