"I honestly do not remember me telling him that." he frowned in thought, sighing after a moment, "I knew he didn't like me!" he grumbled to himself, stopping the walk to pull Kuma to face his, "Thank you for sticking up for me. And I admit to being a young man head over heals in love with you..dumb enough to tell your father I slept with you..at the hospital." he groaned again, pressing his forehead against his, quickly giving him a small kiss. "And how many years later? Four? And we are here on this beach..old enough to talk about our younger years." he chuckled, brushing his nose against his.

Even now his face turned a soft red after a kiss from him. "I do not remember telling him." he laughed, "I swear he must have heard it from your mom." Just talking about his husbands family ached. He considered them his real family over his own and always got along with them. "You know your mother is gorgeous but you know damn well he wanted what was best for you and that was me." he smiled standing a bit taller as he spoke, "But I wish your family was here to see the boys. They would have been even more spoiled than now..if that was even possible."

Yugyeom kept his eyes on him as he talked, squeezing his hand every so often. "The moon is beautiful." he agreed, leaning down to kiss the top of his head, taking a deep breath of his scent. "Yes, the hospital trips. But we made the most out of those trips." he muttered, flashes of the hospital as well as other activities that they had done there flashed through his minds eye. "I remember our first date was almost as cold as this one. I was so nervous," he chuckled, reminiscing that time. "When I first saw you, I honestly thought my heart would stop beating and just die on the spot."

A smile to match his husbands', he shook his head, "Lets keep walking." Taking his hand out of his to hold up a coat for him, helping him to slide it on and then taking his hand back, kissing the back of his hand before sliding their intertwined hands into his pocket. "I think its too beautiful to go back in just yet. The boys are fast asleep..I think we deserve this."

Laughing, he scrubbed the cutting board clean, taking the potatoes from his small hands, “Haven’t leveled up yet to master them.” he leaned down kissing his forehead, trying to make it better. “You did well in the first half just need a pinch server.” Washing the potatoes, he pointed to the steak, “Wanna cook those still?” 

“What’s for dinner?” he eyed the cabinets, walls and ceiling where somehow blood splattered. He didn’t ask and made a mental note to clean it up after dinner. He cleaned off the knife that was left in the sink before making it to the cutting board. “hey grab me more potatoes, ya goof. We cant eat these with your blood all over them.”

“How can I not be worried.” he mumbled, placing the knife in the sink before turning the water on and reaches out to him, “Can I see?”

He nodded and held out his finger. It wasn’t too deep but it was gross and bloody. “It hurts a lot.” He pouted.

He couldn’t help but shake his head, a small smirk across his face. “It doesn’t look too bad.” he mutters, “I am washing it. Brace.” he tugged him closer to the sink, rinsing it off before grabbing the bar of soap, lathering his hands before rubbing his husbands hands between his and rinsed once again. He looked at the cut, grabbing a paper towel to wrap around his finger as he got the band aid ready. Dotting the band aid with antibacterial ointment he easily wrapped the cut and leaned down to kiss the covered wound. “There all better.”

“How can I not be worried.” he mumbled, placing the knife in the sink before turning the water on and reaches out to him, “Can I see?”

With the knife in his hand and a band aid in the other he sighed at the smile. “Your smiles wont work on me, sir. Did you cut yourself for real or was it a joke?”
