I hate when people who call I Who Have Never Known Men a feminist novel because it's so clearly not a feminist novel if you do about 2 seconds of research into the author, and it disappoints people going into the book thinking it's going to be some feminist story.

Molka by Monika Kim is an excellent horror novel that explores grief, revenge, and trauma after sexual assault. Constantly referencing the 'Burning Sun Scandal', a horrifying sexual assault case in South Korea where the victims never received true justice, Monika Kim paints a picture on how men in South Korea are undercharged for crimes against women.

This was a very fast paced horror book, I'd say one could easily read this in 1-2 days, there's not one moment I can recall where something wasn't happening. This book is eerie and chilling, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys horror that has a social commentary, it does what it sets out to do incredibly well. This was one of my most highly anticipated book of 2026, and it did not disappoint.

Thank you so much to Monika Kim, Netgalley, and Kensington Publishing for this ARC, I loved this book and I will be purchasing a physical copy on April 28th when this novel is officially released!

Sometimes I see a book review that's like "THIS BOOK 👉 📖 is SICK 🤢 and TWISTED 😵‍💫 Not only are there TORTURE SCENES 😵🩸 against WOMEN 🙋‍♀️ (anti feminist much????! 😡) but also SEX 🫂 VIOLENCE 🔪 and RELIGIOUS TRAUMA?? 🙏⛪ (random???? 🫥🤔) I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOOK 🙅❌ to ANYONE ‼️‼️ it is PERVERSE 🤨 and WEIRD!!! 😱 I did NOT expect this from THIS BOOK!!.! 😤" and the book is titled The Twisted Pervert's Guide to Torture and Lesbian Nun Sex
