Fladow: hey zelka! We both love Kagami animation. Every Yugioh thing he animated seems to be friggin gorgeous. But I actually kinda prefer the Hirayama style from this comparison post. What do you think? Can the great Kagami be surpassed (albeit for this one instance)? Season 1 as a whole was pretty great consistency animation wise. Season 2 and 3 as well. So despite the inconsistency of millennium world animation, I actually love the majority of animation in this series.

Well depends on the episode and the shots really^^ Everyone got better as the time went on, but Kagami’s abilities really shone in season 2. For this one…I can’t realy decide, I love both xD Hidetsugu Hirayama is one of my top 3 animators too, though he is my third favorite~ My second would be Kazunori Takahashi. His style is similar to Kagami’s, that’s why it is sometimes hard to tell which is which. Ohh same, don’t get me wrong. I loved the yu-gi-oh style since I was a kid and even if it sometimes gets a bit wonky *coughInouecough* I am still in love with the animation and how they drew the characters.

There is another post comparing Kagami’s style to Hirayama’s. Again, I still love both xD

And just because I can, here are some Kaiba shots from my favorite animators. <3 I hope I didn’t mess up Kagami’s and Takahashi’s style somewhere.

Look at these precious children! They’re adorable. They are kind and innocent and still found reasons to smile despite what happened to their lives. I mean look at those smiles! and Seto’s! According to Mokuba he used to smile a lot as a kid.

Basically, Mokuba sort of indirectly blames Gozaburo for Seto losing his smile. Seto found an opportunity to get them out of the orphanage and set his plan of getting back at the people who tossed them aside for their money into motion. But I think with Mokuba, at this point he had come to terms with what had happened with their parents and was fine being with just Seto, in fact he would have preferred if they could just stay together, just the two of them.
