All eyes fixed on the horizon from which the bellows came -- loud, gnashing, carnivorous sounds, thick with rapacious hunger. We were unprepared and were scared. Blood pulsed in our ears as we linked, arm in arm, soft flesh and brittle bones our only defense against their coming. Our inadequacy was obvious, our weakness plain. Still, we stood, resolute in the knowledge that only our numbers may overcome our frailty. The horizon thundered; static sparked in the air. A voice rose from our masses -- a single and quite suddenly unwavering voice:
"Hold up, you guys. Are some of you TERFs? I think this woman next to me might be a TERF."
