Spent today organizing myself and searching for some old commissions I have done. Another productive day for the books! I think... Hopefully this week will go just as well as this weekend has. 

I wish I could narrow this down and say “14, 26, 32-36, and 48 were really interesting, check them out” but to be honest, I think they’re all wonderfully inspiring.

Cheers to a hopefully rich quarter!

Began working on a group project with some classmates and it’s going wonderfully! We’re really solidifying the foundation for our app that we’ll be “developing” and moving into prototyping soon. I’m just so thankful that my group members were as excited about this project as I was.

Watched the sunset last night while I planned out my priorities for the rest of the week and read. I am honestly thankful for my quiet quarter this fall to work on myself, but I also can’t wait to feel like I have a direction again.

Studying doesn’t always require desks especially when you could sit next to your heater on this chilly, cloudy day instead. Empty cups of tea and amazing techno playlists by mrsuicidesheep on YouTube are keeping me company through my note taking. Design of Everyday Things by Don Norman is super interesting but not easy for me to understand the first time through so I’m rereading and making sticky notes to simplify his terms and theories.

Submitted my design portfolio/application to the administration. The deadline isn’t for another week but I can’t wait to hear back from them!

It’s meant for vimeo but it shows you how to embed a video. Just be careful because the code provided will only display that one video specifically. You’ll have to go in and figure out how to get it to play the appropriate video for every video post. I ended up kind of just figuring it out slowly by looking up other theme codes, but it’s a good place to start for sure! Have fun with it!

As I’m in between busy quarters (hopefully), I’m devoting all my time and energy in to my Interactive Design or User Experience Design lecture class. I’m having fun with it, allowing myself to explore new ways to study and organize myself. Thankfully my professor is amazing!! So down to earth and makes everyone so easy to understand or will take the time for us to understand. She might be new, but is she great!

I’m excited for critique to hear the comments, suggestions, feedback I’ll get. I’m hoping to push it a little further if I can... While I achieved the “book” or text feel I decided to pursue, I feel like it might lack interest...

It is finished. Somehow, it is finished.

I’m thinking sleep sounds good right about now. 

Even in the midst of all the stress that came with finals week, at least I can say it’s nice being home and working from here isn’t so bad.
