This is what this game looks like. It is a sensory nightmare and you do practically nothing. I had a lot of fun playing it high though. Watching my little guys explode other guys.

You know it is kind of fucking wild that we train children for like a decade and a half of their lives not to do fucking anything without explicit instructions or permission and to never lie about anything. In order to function beyond a very basic level, people have to learn to disobey, to be themselves, from whatever culture already exists in their local environment.

But most people only learn to disobey just enough to get by, and no more. To disobey any more than necessary, even trivially, with things that manifestly don't matter like choice of clothing, is considered a sign of insanity.

Saying "you can do whatever you want forever" means nothing if we don't actually believe this. If we shy away from people because they're acting unusually, if we believe that people doing what they actually want to do makes them inherently dangerous and harmful, that just seeing and hearing people say and do things that seem strange to us is some kind of harm inflicted, then we are letting fascism have the first and the last word on the subject.

#yeah real #I was always a kid who liked to argue and hated rules that didn't make sense to me #I always said 'I'll follow rules that make sense'#and at work I've always been the person who's like what do you mean ask the manager?#I'm just going to DO it #so I THOUGHT that these ideas didn't have a hook in me #but I really was not doing whatever I wanted forever and so many random things I was just not doing #because I was afraid of doing them wrong or being perceived a certain way #and it's probably only in the last year that I have ACTUALLY begun to internalize do whatever you want forever #and it feels so different lol #I'm realizing my 'rebellion' before was just a reaction to injustice or hypocrisy etc #not actual autonomy on a bone deep level #and I've done crazy shit that nobody wanted me to do #and even that I think was all reactive #here's to doing whatever you want forever for real this time

I hate that when something is just expected of people, there is no amount of explaining that will convince people you can't do it. I just can't have a job it makes me want to kill myself. And people give this or that reason why that's not actually true. No. I did it for nearly ten years. I know. Same thing happens every time. I will get a job if I need to. But I will inevitably become so depressed I am suicidal. And all anyone hears is "I'm a spoiled brat who doesn't want to do anything hard weh weh."

#I am HOPING #that the RIGHT job will not make me feel that way #but the issue is not the work. it's not having to Do My Job At My Job that makes me miserable #outside of circumstances where the job itself is actually miserable #the issue is the routine. it's the time it takes out of my life. it's the lack of autonomy #something about me is just fundamentally incompatible with work and job as a STRUCTURE #and no one ever seems to fucking understand what I'm talking about #it's also the constant social engagement #I get along well with most people but I am lying my fucking face off #I don't want to be there I want to be in a dark room alone #UGH AND SO MANY PLACES ARE A SENSORY NIGHTMARE #AND THEY'RE POORLY MANAGED #aAhhhh #ALSO #THE WAY IT DRIVES ME CRAZY #when I talk about how much I hate working and don't want to have a job #and people are like ohhh because you're a little baby who doesn't want to do things ohhhkayyyy #WHEN THEY HAVE TO TURN AROUND AND ASK ME FOR HELP BECAUSE I DO PUT IN THE WORK #AND KNOW MORE THAN THEM IN LESS TIME #I was dead ass the highest paid person in my department before I cracked #because I had positions that came with higher training expectations and pay raises. I made more money and knew more #than people who had worked there ten years longer than me. I was considered more reliable #but yeahhhhh I'm a widdle fucking baby who doesn't want to work because it's hardddddd weh weh #AHHHHH #yeah this is one of the reasons my managers are still talking about me and asking about me trying to unionize #because I'm Like That. I get elbows deep into shit. AND I WOULD LOVE IF I COULD JUST NOT WANT TO KILL MYSELF ABOUT IT #BUT I DO
