The past few weeks have been a rollercoaster both physically and emotionally, so I didn’t feel like posting much. Nevertheless, each day is a an opportunity to restart, so that is exactly what I’m trying to do. Our new kitten has been keeping me sane, and I’m so grateful for her even if she meows ENDLESSLY. She’ll be my new study buddy as I catch up on missed readings and lectures ❤️

exam season

may 31st 2021 • i haven’t finished a single book this month but that’s okay because i’ve been reading great books nonetheless. right now i’m reading great circle and i’m really enjoying the writing. it is excellent. i really hope i’ll manage to read the whole thing. it’s a rather big book. the hardcover is over 600 pages long and the ebook i’m reading is 800 pages long. it’s huge. but maybe it’s the kind of story i need at the moment? something long that spans decades and is meandering. idk. i just know i really like the writing. it’s beautiful. i don’t have anything planned for today but tomorrow i’d like to do some admin stuff i’ve been procrastinating and also start studying again. we’ll see. for now i’m going to enjoy my coffee and my current read. i’m also relieved my broken rib isn’t bothering me today. i think i really needed rest and the last week has been anything but, with the funeral and the 870 km we had to drive in less than 24 hours to go to normandy and then the doctor’s appointment and everything, it’s been pretty exhausting. but now that i’ve been taking things slowly i’ve been better. i’m glad because i honestly couldn’t deal with the pain on saturday, it was too much. so i’m really happy that today is better. so, back to my book and coffee now eheh

JOMP BPC | May 28: Books in a Bag

today has been a productive sunday! i finished some italian homework, read for anthro, and soaked up some sunshine. i’ve got quite a ways to go before i finish the day’s work, but i’m enjoying the lovely warm spring breeze and cherishing my time home.
