GOOD MYTHICAL SHIPPING

I think it’s no secret at this point that this blog is dead, or at least has been dead for the last few months since this abhorrent pandemic began.

I missed posting about Rhett’s birthday last month, mainly because he actually shares a birthday with my boyfriend (wow!). I haven’t posted any .GIFs of recent episodes since March. And if we’re being totally honest here?

...I haven’t watched a single episode of Good Mythical Morning since then.

It’s not that I've completely lost interest in GMM, but I’ve (unfortunately) definitely lost the drive to keep up this blog. And can you blame me? Thousands of people are dying and after nearly a year, it’s still not over. I lost my job due to COVID-19. I’ve lost family members.... 

There are more pressing matters right now than making YouTuber .GIFs, but Rhett and Link will always hold a special place in my heart for helping me get my YouTube channel back off the ground.

But alas, with everything that’s been going on lately, I can’t continue dedicating my time to this blog, as much as I’d like to. It’d be so much easier if there were 48 hours in the day, because 24 is not nearly enough to do everything I’d like to.

But this is isn’t how things work. This isn’t how ANY of this was supposed to work.

I want to thank you Mythical Beasts for being the most incredible fandom I’ve ever had the honor of being a part of. It brought me so much joy for such a long time to see your happy comments after reblogging what I made. I am very thankful for the opportunity to have contributed to this wonderful community, and there may be a day in the future where I decide to return to this blog.

Right now, I am focusing on my own personal endeavors, being my own channel. This is where my heart is right now, and I know you loving people will back me up no matter what.

So as you all know, this whole coronavirus thing has basically taken the world by storm. There are likely many of you out there who are either already self-quarantining or preparing to self-quarantine once your jobs give you the go-ahead.

Mine just did so yesterday by announcing that we will be working from home for the next 30 days. Therefore, I will no longer be needing to wake up at the crack of dawn every morning to get to work and can instead just open up my laptop and begin working at 9AM, which is where you guys come in...

You see, since GMM premieres at 6AM every morning and I no longer need to start my day that early... I am announcing that I will not be making .GIFs each morning for at least the next month.

That does NOT mean I won’t be making .GIFs at all! 

If there is something you want .GIFfed, you can still shoot me a .GIF request in my ask box and I will get to it ASAP!

I’m sorry if this is disappointing to anyone who enjoys my content, but if I’m going to be stuck inside for that long it only makes sense to do things on my own time. I’ll take sleeping in if it’s an option, hope you can understand!

In the meantime, please take care of yourselves in this troubling time. Practice as much social distancing as possible, maintain good hygiene and above all, remain calm. Thank you for being your Mythical best. ❤️
