I can’t handle how broken this site is right now. Basic functions don’t work. It’s not even about changes, I can deal with changes. I’ve been on tumblr since 2012. However, when basic functions are broken without a single word from tumblr or acknowledgment that it’s literally B R O K E N, that’s when I step out because I am not the kind of person who is willing to do a million work arounds and to install ten different extensions to be able to do something that shouldn’t be an issue in the first place.

So for now, I am not going to be doing posts on tumblr until xkit fixes some broken shit, tumblr fixes broken shit, or whatever.

Slowly, Jaden sat down on his seat and pulled the coffee closer. While letting out a sigh, he lifted the mug to have a small sip of the bitter liquid. Usually, Jaden would prefer some hot chocolate or anything sweet but the shock and fear were still lingering too deep within. But just hearing Dohyun suggesting to go back made Jaden shiver a little bit. But it was true they had to go back and grab some stuff.

❝ Yeah, maybe we should. My agency is about to get us a hotel room, but I need my mobile phone back and we need some stuff from the house beforehand. ❞ But was he really better at talking to spirits? Shouldn’t Dohyun know that Jaden was often awkward with words and prone in doing something really stupid? The merman shook his head a little bit. ❝ You are not JUST a demigod. You are a demigod. ❞ But Dohyun was right, his powers are not helpful in this case. Maybe.

A soft chuckle fell from Jaden’s lips while taking a sip from his coffee again. ❝ Just keep the black cat away from me. I often think that cats can smell that I’m partly fish. But maybe the little ghost boy is willing to talk. He tried holding my hand earlier. ❞ Jaden furrowed his brows while curling his hands around the mug. ❝ Or we try finding out what happened in the house beforehand. I mean, I know that the father killed his family. But why? Envy? Greed? ❞

He is grateful for the hotel room, because despite deciding that it’s necessary to go back and try to talk to the spirits, Dohyun certainly doesn’t want to sleep in that place. They’d wake up in the middle of the night with a creepy little boy staring at them from the corner of the room, or to a cat standing on Jaden’s chest staring down at him with demon eyes. No thank you.

“Yeah, just a demigod. Half of a god. Not a full god. All I can do is probably wave some vines around and feed the dude grapes. But you.. you are strong, powerful merman! The ocean at your fingertips! Grace and beauty.. and.. well, yeah you get what I am saying.” Because Dohyun is so eloquent, right?

The demigod takes a sip of his drink and groans, wishing it were something stronger. What he wouldn’t do for a shot of vodka. Suddenly he misses his club in South Korea, and he wonders what is going on there with the club left in the hands of his store manager. Hopefully he isn’t running it into the ground.

“I’ll do my best to keep the cat away, Jade. I’ll be hyper vigilant for furry fluffs.” He doesn’t think that cats are out to get Jaden nearly as much as Jaden perceives them to be, but of course Dohyun isn’t going to say this right now. “I think the boy might be able to tell you what happened, if he’s willing. I don’t wish to meet the father, so I hope he isn’t hanging around anywhere. If he does, we’ll just go back to the plan of setting the place on fire and saying fuck it.”
