                                    shane  &  chad  crossing  paths  at  a  hollywood  party  &  becoming  bros  tho  —  I  mean  what  ,  I  didn’t  say  anything

                            thanks  for  sending  this  in  ,  nonnie !  honestly  ,  for  my  (  and  @seemsdifferent‘s  )  own  selfish  purposes  ,  I  feel  compelled  to  mention  that  more  camp  rock  muses  (  specifically  caitlyn  ,  peggy  ,  ella  &  did  I  mention  caitlyn  as  we  currently  have  a  nate   ,  tess  &  a  potential  jason  on  the  way  )  wouldn’t  go  amiss !     sonny  munroe  would  be  great  ,  along  with  any  character  from  swac (  can  you  imagine  a  chad  blog ? )  or  suite  life.   lizzie  mcguire  &  raven  baxter  would  bring  back  a  little  piece  of  my  childhood  ,  as  would  any  of  the  cheetah  girls.  ultimately  ,  it’s  up  to  you  -  it’s  all  about  who  inspires  you  &  who  you  would  get  the  most  enjoyment  out  of  writing. 

                       “    it’s  not  enough  to  just  play  the  music   ;   you  have  to  feel  it  ,  man.    ──   right  in  here.   ”                                   message  he  is  attempting  to  convey  is  punctuated  with  the  extension  of  left  hand   ,   open  palm  patting  against  spot  where  the  other’s  heart  resides.                           all  scheduled  classes  at  the  camp  were  long  since  over  for  the  day  ,  the  suggestion  of  staging  an  impromptu   ,   one-on-one  jam  session  having  been  an  idea  initially  raised  by  shane  ,  one  which  finn  had  readily  agreed  to.   besides   ,   it  provided  the  pair  with  a  convenient  excuse  to  simply  hang out  without  facing  accusation  of      ‘  slacking off ‘     ;   if  mitchie  asked   ,   they  were  preparing  for  facing  off  against  camp  star.   ──   drumsticks  are  produced  from  position  tucked  into  his  back  pocket  (  nobody  could  accuse  him  of  not  coming  prepared  )  and  are  tossed  for  finn  to  catch.                                             “   c’mon  ,  think  -  what  inspires  you  most ?   ”

                                                      “    can’t  say  showtunes  are  really  my  thing  ,  dude.   ”                                             shane  is  not  even  going  to  dignify  latter  query  with  verbal  response   ;   he’s  shane  gray   ,   of  course  he  doesn’t  lip  sync.    ——       despite  somewhat  unpleasant  disposition  presented  forth  by  the  other   ,   he  remains  vigilant  in  his  effort  to  endear  himself  to  the  stranger.  after  all   ,   he  was  here  to  be  a  mentor   ,   a  role  model   ;   though  one  would  likely  make  the  assumption  that  rockstar  status  would  be  enough  to  achieve  such  a  feat.      nonetheless   ,   he  didn’t  exactly  put  his  best  foot  forward  upon  arrival  at  camp  rock  last  summer  ,  he  wasn’t  prepared  to  make  the  same  mistake  again.          enquiry  of  his  own  is  offered  in  turn   ,   presumption  of  his  own  surmised  as  result  of  brief  visual  survey  of  the  teen  stood  before  him.                                             “    lemme  guess   ,   first  time  here ?    ”

                                                                                 “    excuse  me  ?   ”                                                          incredulous  tones  smooth  over  his  tongue  with  near  immediacy   ,   query  posed  forth  a  catalyst  for  the  surprised  lift  of  heavy  brows.  perhaps  if  he  had  encountered  her  prior  to  much-needed  reality  check   ,   he  would  have countered  brutally  honest  critique  with     ‘  who  do  you  think  you’re  talking  to ? ‘     (   never  mind  the  fact  that  inwardly   ,   he  would  have  wholeheartedly  agreed  with  such  a  remark  )   ;   however  ,  he  is  not  that  guy  any  more.   he  has  finally  shed  previously  acquired  diva reputation   ,   he  has  no  intention  of  getting  it  back.       and  so  ,  response  is  offered  in  the  form  of  noncommittal  shrug  ,  motion  accompanied  by  a  wry  chuckle  and  the  rise  of  one  hand  to  rub  at  the  back  of  his  neck.                                                         “    can’t  please  everyone   ,   huh ?           ——           you  play ?    or  are  you  just  one  heck  of  a  critic ?   ”
