magdalena rosa, or maggie for short, grew up in a very poor family, who had barely a shack to call their name. when maggie was 18 her mother shoved her out the door and insisted on her finding a wealthy man to take care of her. maggie moved to denver and became an escort, finding quick and easy cash being an escort to the rich and lonely older men. soon, she met her first husband who was significantly older than her and maggie never really actually loved but he could take care of her and that’s what she was searching for. (think fancy by reba mcentire) maggie had two children with her first husband, only to lose him some significant health issues when her youngest child was about to turn 3. rumors circulated in her local part of denver on how she must have been the reason he died, because she never loved him. maggie was an intelligent and manipulative woman, but she was unaware that her lack of feelings for him were that noticed. a grieving widow, maggie took solace in one of her first husbands friends, resulting in her second marriage and jazmin being born. there was a little bit more love in this marriage, the bond they had because of her deceased husband brought them together in deeper ways but it wasn’t enough. maggies husband was an alcoholic and she quickly divorced him after the third time he committed adultery. between her first husbands estate, and the money she got from the divorce, she did well off on her own anyway, who needed him anyway. it wasn’t long after the divorce that a “sorrowful” magdalena (or lena for short) had seduced her way back into the arms of another rich man. she gave that man the “best of the rest of her younger years” as she put it a lot of the time, gave him two more children and to everyone’s surprise, is still living happily ever after with husband number 3.

so basically this family is a hot rich mess, their mother cares about one thing and one thing alone -- class. she was a supportive mother, she definitely encouraged her children to follow their dreams but she also taught them to go big with their dreams or find another dream.

all the children should be at least half white. there are two older children from her first marriage and two from her current marriage. the two older ones probably view jazmins dad more like a father since he was there right after their dad died and built a bond through that, however they’re all relatively close to their current step father. 

whoever takes the first of each of the set determines ethnicity and surname (for the younger two). jazmins dad probably adopted the older two and their last names changed to estrads but the younger two will have as different surname.

about you: i’m a 30 year old single mother who lives for the rp community. I am in school for medical assisting and my favorite things in the world are: messing with my own feelings, pizza, sushi and angsty teenage dramas. My favorite thing about the rp community: my favorite thing about the roleplay community is the friendships you make when you join a site. Seeing different people coming together and making lifelong friendships. It’s a tie between that, and seeing all the diverse characters and the creativity that people have when it comes to their characters.

What i’m excited about for the site: You hear it a lot, how the staff thinks it feels different than most sites and normally i’m one of those people who kind of eye roll because a lot of the time it never ends up that way but i genuinely feel like the collaboration, all bias aside, is something i haven’t seen in a long time. I’m excited for the new plots, characters, members and creating something wholesome for everyone to enjoy.
