hi. i'm so sorry to ask again for any help but with my dad dying it's time for pride to die along with it. i would appreciate help. i am in my dad's city to be with him and my family as he passes on. i brought all of my work equipment up and have it set up in my sister's air bnb. i am allowed to leave work during the day as long as i return before it's time to clock out. however, i can't afford it. i lost around $300 in income last week dealing with my grief and rushing to get up here to be with my father. every $12 i raise right now will help me justify leaving work for 1 hour in the day to be with my family. i am also going to miss work friday and maybe saturday at my other job, putting me another $100 under. i am the only one having to work through this and it's absolutely awful trying to do it knowing my dad could die while i'm on a phone call 20 minutes away from him. please, please help me if you can - i just want more time with him. please. i'm sorry.

to break this down and make it a bit easier and clear for people, it will cost me about $96 a day to miss my work from home job shifts. if i miss my second job friday, i will miss out on about $45. second job saturday will miss $75. for all 5 days of my day job, i would need to fund $480. with friday and saturday ($120), that makes $600 total to miss the week. i am aware this is a large ask and that is why i split it into hourly day job being $12, as i will gladly just use whatever i can raise to take off an hour or two at a time during the day (though 1 hour alone would be hard due to 30 mins spent driving to and from my dads) and i will simply have to accept missing my friday and saturday shift fund if i cannot raise them

hi everyone,

i am so thankful that i was able to raise the full amount for this week. you guys have positively impacted my life in a way i cannot even articulate during a very hard time.

my dad passed away around 5am today, february 3 2022. i have been approved for an unpaid leave of absence at my day job until the 19th. i will surely not be able to take this much time due to finances, but anything you guys could donate towards covering time off would be appreciated so that i have time to grieve his loss without stressing finances. again, $96 covers one full day of work missed. $12 helps justify one hour. i do have a tax refund coming later this month that i will use towards some time, but it also has to go towards bills i am behind on so i cannot utilize all of it. please help me in any way you can, even if only by sending $1 or reblogging this post if you are unable.
