Hi! It's me the moderator! My name is Cosmo ((I'm not a cake I promise. Yall can just call me "Problems" if you choose) and this is my little passion project for the stinkies that are; Dandy's World toons!

DNI: all the basic ones, please don't be a freak here, I may be a adult but I am uncomfortable with that stuff. This includes proshipping and NSFW. Yall can ship characters all ya want, just please don't be weird about it.

What has it been... like... 6 months?

I have been working on this project to make sure it's up to my new standards and art style! I do still really want to continue this project.

But

With the news about what has happened with qwell ((even though I don't belive duck Adam's story)) is really disappointing. Since qwell hasn't responded and the offical discord server has been locked until she presumably does... I don't know weather or not I CAN continue this passion project..

I really love this story and how it's coming together behind the scenes ((since I didn't share any of it with yall yet lol)) but if this stuff is true..

How do I cope with it?

I love this community I've just been watching from the shadows and the work and passion everyone puts into their discussions and art. It just hurts to think something so important to me and so many people can just be ripped away like that.

Qwell needs to make a statement soon

Until then I'll keep thinking of ways to keep this project going without supporting her or the blush crunch studio.

Please stay safe out there and do your research! I'm still ill informed and don't know the whole story yet. I will not spread anything until I have learned more about this.

I just wanted to make this post because it feels wrong to not. This is a dandys world au blog. If there's something going on with the studio and the creator of the official game I want to be clear on my stance of them when I can. It's not right for me to pretend nothing happened and just randomly start posting again.

How about just the day I died? The day Goob and Dandy went missing with me...

Boxten: yeah, I can force you to talk about the rest later. Though I don't know why you'd need to start from when you first created dandy...

Shopkeep: heh.. I guess that part isn't important right now...

Well, it all started with the usual; gathering the toons I needed and heading to the elevator

I needed dandy and goob's assistance today, Delilah already gathered the rest at that point.

It was odd, something felt wrong that day. I wasn't as exited as I should have been.. how I wanted to be.

Dyle wasn't too pleased either.

The 10th anniversary of the museum.. of you all being able to interact with more than just Me, Delilah, the handlers, and the janitor.

It was going to be a suprize for everyone, toons and guests included! We had a whole week of activities planned...

Just thinking about it makes me wish I could have shown you all.

Did everyone I can't account for make it out?

Boxten: every toon who went with you made it back, other than Dandy and Goob of course. Shelly and Willard know where Delilah and the handlers went.

Shopkeep: oh.. that's good at least... what about the janitor?

Boxten: You're getting off topic Arthur. I'm sure they're fine.

Dandy, scraps, and goob are siblings in this universe! They are all cats, and I thought it would be fun to write about.

And a little? Scraps does feel guilty about not being there, but she is working on it.

After goob was found she started taking more time away from her work with dyle and actually trying to hang out with him.

Though, that hasn't been shown in the current part of the comic, due to her currently working.

If she wasn't working right now the lore would be very diffrent lol

She does play a bigger role later on ofc!

And yeah, there's going to be sibling angst, there always will be! MweheehhahahaHAHAHAHA

I love my trio of crazies.

Having the whole cat-tastic family working together again would have been such a treat!

Though, maybe it was for the best.

Not a thing out of the ordinary, just us waiting for the elevator.

Never thought it would take so much of my energy, but, I'm happy I got it anyways!

I used my spare time to make a new pfp for this blog, and on a new project with some friends. ((That will be announced later)

I can't wait to be able to invest more time into this again

Boxten: after everything that's happened, the near starvation, the elevator shutting down, being trapped on this floor, the dissapearences! Thats not even to mention what happened to Goob!

This story isn't really technically started yet ((like a prolouge, thats why ive been able to take so many breaks) so I can explain some of what I have planned if that would help!

This AU is about goob recovering his memories as he and the other main four try and fix things. From twisteds to the tears in the walls, they are going to try and reclaim their past.

Each of the main four have their own dedicated arcs! They will not be linear, and could even happen at the same time. ((I used goob's as a example here! Mainly because it is the only one you've been told about)

You play a character too! As a way to keep this blog true to being a ask blog yk?

You play a ghost in a tablet. ((You will figure out more about yourself as time goes on)) your goal is to try and keep the main four alive! You have limits, and those will be made clear as you hit them! Sorta like trial and error.

As for why goob is permanently crying ichor... well, I can't really explain it, without spoiling things anyways! It is important! Just like the pins in his back.

That tiny dandy is Arthur! You guys figured that out way too soon tbh. But hey, I expected things to not go exactly as I planned! The reason why he looks bug-like is because he had to fit all those bones into a plushie. It is surprisingly hard to do that without the body ripping in half!

I can't really explain much else without spoilers,

TLDR:

This story is about reclaiming the past, misunderstandings and how they are hard to break, and finding peace in the chaos.

This au is full of little puzzles and emotions, I plan on fleshing out all the characters! To make them feel real. My goal with this is to make a story i am proud of.

Once the first torn or twisteds get introduced, I can explain so much more! But it seems your character doesn't remember that just yet >:)
