I feel like so much kink stuff expects that I'm a 30 year old androgynous latex pig fucking nonstop with my berlin polycule where we frequent sex clubs and bag each others heads. Like where are the resources for students in their early 20s who have found that kink stuff helps them not be an alcoholic

Today I had a little worry session about being weird. Fundamentally different, or even broken inside, meaning I'd never be able to relate to anyone. But in the end I think I'm a nice person, well-meaning and I try to be empathetic and kind, and that's enough for me for now.

By the way I feel like I should mention: I'm finding that I want the space of this blog to be focused directly on talking about kink, that means possibly hard/difficult topics on the subject of kink as well. I encourage anyone who doesn't want to see their dear friend talk about getting fucked/doing kinky shit/having kinky fantasies, to go ahead and unfollow. That's because I need this space to be a place where I can learn and grow, make mistakes and be vulnerable and raw. I'll reblog this post a couple times as housekeeping, but after that it's going to get a little different around here if all goes well.

Okay real actual question is anyone under the age of 30 actually doing kink or is it just people using kink for fashion purposes or to seem cool and edgy. Because first of all where are the under 30s receiving training and finding community, and second of all where is the evidence of it ever. This is why I've actually been interested in going to fur/puppy events, because that's the only place where I've actually seen kink practiced by people within my age range.

Lol idk why I didnt notice it before but most of my longterm interests were definitely things that kinked me out and fed into my little self indulgent fantasies. That's not even a bad thing, but it's also funny how those interests crossed into my daily life. Because i don't necessarily want everyone knowing intimate information about me, but it's fairly common to like, idk, star trek or something. But it's not as common to have an intricate fantasy where I'm one of the waitresses at Quark's bar and I'm made to wear an extra skimpy costume LOL. So I think the issue is keeping those things separate. I'm still learning so much about how to explore and accept these parts of me which I have to live with, for better or for worse.

Are there even any kink events for people under 30 where my partners ex isnt there. Do i have to accept that all my partners exes are just going to be at any kink event i go to.

Okay really interesting stuff, I started listening to a kink podcast to try to ease back into things and I'm having a great time. One moment my stomach is flipping from excitement and interest, and the next moment I am feeling sympathy and understanding and belonging. I can really see myself indulging more of this part of me in a more active way, and being safe about it too.
