Free Download:‘Stranger’ Live at Royal Albert Hall
Hello deers - we hope 2015 has treated you well. As we get into the festive season and the end of the year, we wanted to share a small gift with you all.
One of our favourite moments of the past few years was our performance at the Royal Albert Hall in November 2014 where we had the incredible opportunity to perform ‘Tales Of Us’ accompanied by the London Contemporary Orchestra.
A particularly special song that we performed that evening is ‘Stranger’ from our most recent album ’Tales Of Us'. The song was inspired by Patricia Highsmith’s incredible novel “Carol”.
We wanted to share our live version of ‘Stranger’ with you all from that night right here.
We hope you enjoy it. Festive frolics and best wishes to all. -Alison and Will

Will Gregory & Rony Orrell present HE WHO GETS SLAPPED at Bath Festival on May 23
“Will Gregory has produced an epic score that matches the visuals perfectly… There is a full range of moods.” The Classical Source
A neglected masterpiece of the silent screen, performed with live musical accompaniment in Bath’s lovely art deco venue Komedia, originally built as a cinema. He Who Gets Slapped was the first feature made by MGM; a Hollywood take on a Russian play made by the legendary director Victor Sjöström and starring Lon Chaney, one of the legendary figures of silent cinema (The Hunchback Of Notre Dame, The Phantom Of The Opera).
The music is written and performed by Will Gregory — one half of electro-pop band Goldfrapp — in partnership with his long-term collaborator Tony Orrell. Will Gregory’s music blurs the boundaries of jazz, electronica and pop, and his live music and film events are intense and moving: his performance of Joan of Arc lifted the roof off Bath Abbey at the 2013 Bath Film Festival.
Will Gregory says: I think this ranks as one of the great cinematic performances in the history of film. Chaney exudes such presence and charisma that it is easy to understand why he was the most celebrated screen actor of his day.
Presented in collaboration with Bath Film Festival.
