this is kind of an annoying rant, but like, this one girl i'll now be stuck with the next school year 'cause all my other friends are moving, sometimes astonishes me with how ignorant a person can be. and there's no malice to any of the things she's saying, but i had to explain to her where republicans is positioned politically, why the palestine-israel war was happening and why ai usage is bad for the planet. i do find her annoying for other reasons, but those i feel sorry for her for thinking (like her being clingy or not getting a lot of jokes), but her complete lack of knowledge of the world makes me view her as insanely out of touch and it makes discussing anything that isn't shallow impossible.
