The phone call was a change from the letters Jinu had sent her earlier, but Rumi was on board with it. This was easier. Faster. She could say absolutely not to his face, if she needed to — though this time, she was the one who had invited him. And taken the time to write another letter.

❝ Right now? ❞ she confirmed, her voice betraying her and coming off a little too happy about the fact that he had agreed to this. She hadn’t expected him to actually meet her again, after everything. ❝ At our usual spot, then. See you there in ten? ❞

Rumi had not known peace for the past week. The fact that after everything, Jinu was still there, somehow, was the least of the things making her restless.

She had barely had time to be surprised before he had fallen unconscious — No- no! her own screams followed her to her nightmares — and worry took over. At least he was still there, it was the one good thing she focused on, the small relief that she desperately wished wasn’t false hope.

It also didn’t help that she had had to explain it all to Zoey and Mira, at least to some degree. No more hiding, she had promised ( to herself, above all ), but it was difficult, fighting the urge to just lock her door and pretend nothing was going on. It had always been easier to pretend.

Rumi awoke to something soft, and warm on her hand — and she startled awake, realizing what it meant. ❝ You’re here. You’re awake… ❞ She pushed herself upright, to sit on the bed. She had fallen asleep in the clothes she had worn the previous day, messy braid hanging off of the edge of the bed. The last time she had brushed her hair and redone it must have been days ago.

After everything, Rumi was exhausted. Relieved, happy, sad, but mostly exhausted. The past few days felt like they had been years long, from everything that happened, and she hadn’t had a chance to even begin to procrss all of it. Rumi felt a little bad for taking a little head start and slipping away while Zoey and Mira were distracted, but she really needed a moment alone before the girls would arrive at their apartment.

She pushed the door open, barely taking in her surroundings, when her eyes settled on a familiar figure — one she was not expecting to see. It was impossible, she thought she had lost him, but no. There he was, even after she blinked several times. Her eyes weren’t playing tricks on her. ❝ …Jinu? ❞ she whispered, voice full of disbelief, and… hope?

hi, i’m lili (she/her)! i’m 23 years old and in the EEST time zone. i’ve roleplayed for 10+ years on various sites, these days on tumblr or discord!

— REPLIES : i default to a literate style, and quite flexible in terms of length. right now, i struggle a little to write frequent long replies of 300+ words, but i can go even above that when i get in a good flow! i prefer to write in third person, but i’m flexible in terms of tense and formatting.

— ACTIVITY : this blog is mid activity at the moment (i have a full time job but i’m so excited to write for this fandom), but my activity level may fluctuate depending on how much time and energy i have. generally, i’m very patient and don’t mind slow replies, so i’m happy to interact no matter how active you are!

— CONTENT : i’m a huge lover of fluff and banter, i swear i could write a book with just that. however, some canon-like darker themes will probably appear on this blog, and potentially other mature themes as i am an adult writing a character who’s also an adult. i don’t have any triggers, but i prefer not to make generally triggering or extremely dark themes the main focus of a thread.

— SHIPPING : please be 20+ to ship our characters. my portrayal of rumi is multiship and over the age of 20, and will only be shipped with other adults. i hc her as bisexual! forcing ships is not cool, if our characters have never interacted before, please ask first! suggestive scenes and dialogue are totally fine, but when it comes to smut i usually prefer to fade to black for the most explicit material. it’s chemistry-based for me, so for established ships i sometimes make exceptions.

— SELECTIVITY : mutuals are always welcome to interact, my asks and dms are open! for threads with longer replies and non-mutuals, please ask first - if i say no to plotting with you, it’s most likely not personal! i just want to put proper effort into all of the threads i have going on and i’m here to write with people i vibe with, and life keeps me busy sometimes. if i follow you (back), i’m interested in interacting with you! i can be shy sometimes but i probably think you’re really cool even if i don’t know how to say it. super duplicate friendly, you all are awesome!!
