Grizzco Industries has been pulling strings behind Splatfest Results
After careful research into Splatfest results over the past few years, review of Grizzco spending data, and idol group sponsorships from Grizzco on live television, there is clear evidence that connects Grizzco to multiple instances of Splatfest results that don't make sense.
For a few years now, I've assumed that something was going on behind the scenes when it came to Splatfest results, especially in the tricolor Deep Cut hosted fests. Now, with the rerun of Springfest on the horizon, I recall back to the first Springfest results of the tricolor fests. Team Bear Cub had won, giving Big Man's team another win. Bear Cubs won with 485 total points, far exceeding the other two teams. Yes, it is true that the team did win Conch Shells, Open, and Tricolor, but Big Man's dialogue during his win was not evidencing the claim that Bear Cubs won by the skill and determination of its members itself. He states that his win "clears up [his] schedule for some freelance work" and "maybe later [Deep Cut] should head over to Grizzco". Not only is the mention of Grizzco Industries in the broadcast suspicious, Shiver only cements the suspicion with how quickly she tries to close out the broadcast, even quoting "THAT'S A WRAP". Big Man has been known and well documented by accidentally spilling behind the scenes secrets, and Shiver's reaction to another case of this only proves evidence to the point that Grizzco has been pulling the strings behind Splatfest results, especially for Springfest because of the options. People associate bears with Grizzco, and if Bear Cubs wins, then people will be more drawn to Grizzco because "if bear win, then bear good. If Grizzco bear, then Grizzco good." It's an unconscious thought that causes opinions on Grizzco's practices to change, and gets people hired.
After Springfest 2024, Grizzco employment suddenly spiked after a slow drop in employment rates. This spike is seen during times of Big Run, especially spiking during the events of Big Big Run and Grand Run. Why is this important? Grizzco spending usually takes sharp spikes around Big Run times, and noticeably, in data tables, this spike is ALSO seen during Springfest 2024. However, this is not all, as rises in spending are also seen whenever Splatfests are around. The second highest spike in spending was around the Grand Festival. This was interesting, so I dug deeper, trying to find exactly where this money went. Just as I expected, it went into companies behind Splatfest events, especially the company that does all the math behind Splatfest events. The spike in money spending during Springfest also went into Deep Cut's PR. This funding for Splatfest voting systems as well as Deep Cut provides evidence that Grizzco was pulling the strings behind Team Bear Cub's victory in 2024, which in turn would cause higher employment as we saw in the employment rates. More employees means more money, more golden eggs, more injured workers, and more angry Salmonids, leading to Big Runs that just create more employees, more money, and more golden eggs. Grizzco's funding once again had a spike around Grand Festival, going into the voting system once again. I wouldn't be surprised if they rigged Grand Fest for Team Past to win. After all, aren't bears a thing of the past?
To add further connection between Grizzco and Splatfest, ever since the companies opening in 2017, Grizzco has been featured on television with Idol Groups. Their sponsorships date back to Off the Hook's days hosting, funding their small group as they eventually grew in popularity until they dropped the duty of hosting Splatfest events onto other musical groups like Deep Cut. Deep Cut then also featured these sponsorships. Both groups, every single broadcast, featured a Grizzco sponsorship and announcement, always telling you what the current workspace was. This is put alongside positive comments about the idols from their experience. I cannot blame Off the Hook or Deep Cut, because PR is important and Grizzco funding is also important to keep these groups on air and in the public's attention. However, these sponsorships still paint Grizzco in a good light, and therefore gives them employees and money and all the stuff I already mentioned before. Grizzco could simply just help sponsor the shows like other companies and brands and move on, but they need the attention and spots for hires. With Grizzcos Splatfest result rigging in mind, it makes perfect sense why Grizzco would be so tightly woven into idol groups. It makes it so that nobody would bat an eye if the results were rigged in Grizzco's favor.
So, why would they do this? Grizzcos doesn't directly get money from Splatfests. However, their influence in Splatfests based on the results (like Bear Cubs winning for example) inserts ideas into people's minds, like "bear win = bear good" or that "Deep Cut/Off the Hook supports Grizzco? I support Grizzco then!". These ideas are dangerous, painting Grizzco in one light: Grizzco is good and you should join them.
You have fallen for propaganda.
Grizzco is a shady company that doesn't care for you. It will send you to a meaningless war for resources that you don't know where they go to. It will take away all your time and energy, leaving you too tired to fight back against the corporation. Not only that, it hurts your coworkers, it hurts your family, it hurts your neighbors and the people who walk around you. Many Salmonid tribes are violent towards land dwellers because of Grizzco's operations, and others only live in fear that their children will be grinded into golden dust and their bodies left to the dirt, unseasoned in a meaningless death. Nobody benefits under Grizzco.
What can you do? Boycott Grizzco of course. Refuse to work there or buy products created by them. If you're brave enough, steal squit from them. If you do and you have the ability to quit, quit. As for the upcoming Springfest, don't vote Bear Cubs. Vote Chicks or Bunnies. And if Bear Cubs wins again? Just further evidence to support Grizzco's rigging of Splatfest results.
DO NOT GIVE GRIZZCO WHAT THEY WANT.
