{ 一石二鳥 } - ◤ She tsked, but it was more of a ‘big sister disapproving of her annoying sibling.’ than true annoyance as she finished off with a slap of the book with just enough to sting against his hands in punishment. ◢
❝ Do not smile when saying such stupid things. You are very much a child. Many races of Man-omaugi are seen as fledglings until their 100th years of life, if not later. If they make it that far, bless them. Even then most consider them small, weak and inexperienced. You should be honoured just be be considered a novice, at best. ❞
◤ She stepped away and out of her bend, once again towering over the human child like a grand tree, as she eyed him for second through narrowed eyes. ◢
❝ But, if you want to play big boy so badly, I would gladly allow you to shoulder adult work. You will now finish your obligation to the Dhavaski and take personal responsibility of playing their nurse. I have too many already in my care, to take care of an that idiot. ❞
◤ She backing off, the clunk of her heels were almost silent compared to the roar that echoed through the halls and into the room as the place shook. And she frowned, even deeper than she had been. ◢
❝ Shut up, you lilly-white pansy, before I give you a reason to disturb my patients. ❞ ☬ She yelled back, being much louder than whoever had annoyed her. There was complete silence after her warning and she looked completely satisfied with herself. ◢
❝ Now, what was I doing before I was rudely interrupted, right. ❞ ☬ She raised her pointer and middle together. Before circled them in motion in the air and like magic things began moving and placing themselves in the bag she had once been working on herself. ◢
❝ Their file, or at least what you need to know is readable in that book. If you lose it, be warned I will skin you for a new one. ❞ ☬ If she was being serious or not, was not given away as she continued. ◢
❝ Inside it will tell you when you need to give them their pain shots, change their bandages, and anything else and how, if you need a reminder. For now, you are in time for their everything, so I can show you first hand. Ok Mr. not a kid. Just so you know, if you mess up, it is your patient that suffers. Now are you ready? ❞ ☬ She asked flicked her wrist and the bag zipped up. ◢
“Right...” Masaomi’s smile died down when he was told off in such a way, though the gratitude for the information the woman provided to him still remained there. But still, this world was certainly a pretty different place. He could bet those creatures had to be annoyed for being taken for kids for long 100 years. He was already tired of it when he was like 16.
“Ah, I don’t mind playing the nurse...” he answered, though it was not certain if she could even hear him since she went to scream at whoever was making a noise Masaomi didn’t even notice before. What he certainly noticed, however, was the woman’s scream so he was not sure what purpose her shouting really served since she was currently the one disturbing the patients. And she called him a kid. Well, whatever.
When she was done with the screaming, Masaomi watched what was happening in front of him, pretty much already getting used to magic and supernatural stuff so she couldn’t even say he was surprised to see it anymore.
“I won’t lose it and I’ll try not to mess up. Thank you for giving me all the information.” Pausing, Masaomi reminded himself not smile again though he considered it a polite thing to do. But no, he wasn’t going to push it since she seemed to dislike his smile before. “I’m ready.”
