I have shown corner time, enemas and other forms of associated discipline - but one that goes back to early childhood - and effective even for adults is soap in the mouth.

Here a mom takes her married daughter to the bathroom for soap, because she used bad language. After having the soap in her mouth, and a few reminder swats, the soap is allowed to come out - and then the required apology to her sister for using bad language.

Dad instituted a zero-tolerance policy for disrespect - especially when it came to disrespecting Mom. Violating this policy meant that his hand would be soon making a fast and frequent acquaintance with your bare bottom. No discussion. No excuses.

I am not allowed to speak without permission

To ask permission to speak I must get in the position on the floor in front of my Master. That means ass up, face down, arms stretched out straight in front. It makes it hard to speak and be heard.

This is to remind me that speaking to my beloved Master Husband is a privilege.
