Remember that hilarious Madden glitch that made game characters tiny? It happened in real life!
I do believe that's Virginia Tech's own Eddie Royal. Or as we call him, the Lilliputian.Â

Highlights from Virginia Tech's 35-21 upset of No. 8 Ohio State.
From ESPN's official Twitter feed. How sweet it was. Arguable the biggest road win in the history of Virginia Tech football.

VTHokieFans.com turned 4 today! Happy birthday to us?
99 days until Virginia Tech kicks off the 2014 college football season
Good news, Hokies fans! We are less than 100 days away from the start of the 2014 college football season. Virginia Tech opens against Division I-AA (FCS) William & Mary, which, as all Hokie fans remember, beat UVA in Charlottesville, 26-14, back in 2009.
Earlier this week, Virginia Tech announced the kickoff times for the Hokies' first two home games. The season opener on Aug. 30 against the Tribe will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN3.
The second home game, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13, against East Carolina, will be a noon kickoff and will be televised on either ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2. That will the Hokies "White Effect" game.
Not that Virginia Tech fans should be looking past a lower division team given the Hokies' struggles in recent years, but just in case anyone had forgotten about JMU in 2009, here's a quick recap of how the Tribe has fared against higher division teams in recent years.
>While not a traditional FCS power, W&M does have a track record of giving I-A teams fits.
>In the 2013 season opener, the Tribe went on the road to Morgantown, WV and held a 10-point lead over the Mountaineers midway through the third quarter before WVU scored 17 unanswered points to win 24-17.
>In 2012, The Tribe lost a defensive battle (for lack of a better term), 6-7, on the road against Maryland. Again, the Tribe led late in the game, but gave up a fourth-quarter touchdown.
>In 2010, William & Mary nearly pulled off an upset of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, but couldn't quite hold off a late Tar Heel rally. The final score was 17-21.
>And, of course, in 2009, the Tribe completely shut down the Wahoos in Hooville. It was a such a historic win for W&M that they're still selling the commemorative T-shirts at The Campus Shop.
A little hair whip gift because why not.
Hokies, we need your help in funding surgery for the retired Virginia Tech Police dog, Boris. There are currently two funding options, one through a Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine initiative to provide medical help to working and service dogs. The other is available through a local resident who has started a Crowdrise site in Borisâ honor. Help Boris retire in good health! www.vetmed.vt.edu/centaur/support.asp www.crowdrise.com/borisvtdog

This isn't your average rendering of the new indoor practice facility at Virginia Tech.
UPDATE: Apparently, the owner of the video has since password protected this video. Not sure why, but it looked pretty good.

Cassell doors open in one hour. Make sure to be here early and show @TeamCoachBuzz how #Hokie fans can pack the stands.
Be there.
Hehe.
âWhat do you do with the Boys and Girls Club?â
âWe mentor them because these are kids that need guidance to further their education. The main thing is really just exposing them to what college is like.â
Highly recommend this new "Humans if Virginia Tech" Tumblr. Great stuff!
Virginia does not have an official state song. This FB page is making a push for Pharrell's "Happy" to fill the void.
Is there any information about the 2014-2015 High Techs Tryouts?

Top five ACC student sections:
2. Virginia Tech: From the pregame âEnter Sandmanâ entrance to the end of the fourth quarter, the students stay loyal all the way. Theyâre the ones who have made Thursday nights in Blacksburg special. Theyâre the loudest for the âLetâs go! Hokies!â cheer, and one of the biggest reasons Virginia Tech has had such an overwhelming home-field advantage.
