      With a hidden smile and unusual glint in his eyes he turned to Chopper, hiding behind his back doctor’s favourite treat. The only thing Luffy hadn’t accounted for was Chopper’s above average sense of smell and while he acted as naturally as possible ( he was a terrible actor ) anyone who actually knew him would find it hard to believe he wasn’t hiding something.

favorite season?: Summer, it’s the sunniest. I like spring as well.

favorite movie/s?: I don’t do favourite things because the list of today won’t be the same as the list of tomorrow. I’ve seen many throughtout the years, but recently I’ve really liked Weathering With You, Silent Voice and Your Name as the nice emotional ones, I’ve always adored Godfather, La Dolce Vita, Goodfellas, Marvel movies, Lawrence of Arabia, etc. It’s hard to make a definite list. 

favorite album?: Same as with previous question. I listen to everything, no matter which genre it is and from which country, I will listen to everything and decide if I like it or not. The last album I listened to and really enjoyed is Taemin’s “Never Gonna Dance Again : Act 2″.

favorite quote?: The quotes I’m able to come up with myself. It’s a nice feeling when I’m able to dive into a topic and then summerise it in a good quote. Otherwise, I have many from various people. I’d be easier to tell me a name and then to choose their best one.

favorite shirt?: The one I really dig currently is a blue T-shirt with a ship and a quote about freedom and adventure on it. It represents me well.

your favorite place: There are two I can think of. On a ship at the vast sea and at top of a mountain. There is nothing better than the feeling of freedom, wind carressing skin, sun enlighting skin, endless horizon in front of you.

your favorite memory: There are many memories I am fond of, big and small ones so ranking them would be extremely hard.

your ideal partner: Not interested in romance nor in need of a partner. I am happy with the friends I make.

your bedroom: Shared with my younger sister. Half one personality, half other. It’s a nice combination of two opposites.

It’s almost surprising that the straw hat captain has slowed down enough to take note of Law’s frame of mind. Though as always he’s decided it must be of no real concern and has decided to attempt prodding Law into a mood change.

“Not everything is fun and games, Mugiwara-ya.” His lips pressed together in a thin line. The idea of a meal though at least piques his interest. The straw hat cook is good at what he does. When he’s not mocking everyone that is.

“That bastard better not have put any umeboshi in them.” The memory is nearly vivid enough to force the taste back into his mouth. After a few moments of thought Law moves his gaze to Luffy. “Was that his idea or yours?” He’s curious about who has decided he needed a break, who’s been watching him a little more carefully than Law would have guessed at.

      Luffy was at that point almost used to Torao’s stern face. He didn’t really know why his friend (because Torao is his friend) refused to smile and was always so serious, he just knew Torao had good reasons. Then again, he didn’t like seeing his friends gloomy, and if there was anything Luffy could do to help out, he would. And Torao just looked tired, exhausted.

      “I know that, Torao.” He sat next to him, plate offered for him to take the food whenever he waned, smile present on Luffy’s lips even if his voice grew serious. He took one onigiri and a small bite, showing the filling to the raven. “No umeboshi, you don’t like them. Eel’s inside.”

      The look he gave him was just a bit more serious than before, the contrast to the usual happy-go-lucky attitude and cheerfulness. Even if he didn’t look like he paid much attention, he always had his eyes on his friends. It was pure instinct, animalistic even, that would tell him when things weren’t right. And just in an instant the wave of seriousness was gone, as if it was never there. “I was hungry and you looked like you could use some food too!” 

      AH- Wait- The beginning fear that she might be eaten was slid aside to the sudden embrace of a hug–not only a hug but a JUMP hug!! Did this guy know Anyagi Culture??? Was she lucky?? In response to the rubbing of cheeks, she did the same, a light squee noise coming out as she vibrated and glowed, an almost purr noise coming. Hugging was the most important thing to do when meeting someone! She was so happy!! Not meat today!

      “ Skeee!! a- n nakama? w what’s… c crew?? W where- Are t there pirates?? ”

      Fear once again returned–pirates were bad weren’t they?? She didn’t hear about them often when she was at home but- Oh no was she being kidnapped? No, she was being hugged! Completely different!

      A vibrant, genuine laughter escaped his throat and lips, joy of meeting someone new and so soft a pleasant feeling he couldn’t describe. He knew her for only a moment but he was already set in taking her under his wing. She was like a soft pillow, and her purring was music that could rival Brook’s. He was so happy to meet her! He made another friend! 

      “Yes, you’re my nakama! A crew is a group of nakama! Shishishi!” 

      Those beautiful little horns, the soft looking hair, there was no mistaking it! She was a goat! A tiny goat! She was meat! He just wasn’t aware he yelled it aloud, only stopping for a second once her voice was heard. 

      “Yohohoa!” Eyes shine at the creature before him, excitement at the unknown and unseen evident. How many stories she held, where did she come from? Did she have nakama of her own? Was she a pirate as well? There were too many questions to ask! 

She completely understood his confusion. Who could be scared of the Straw Hat captain, with his perpetual smile and ridiculous appetite and easy laugh? And to be fair, she wasn’t afraid of him like she was the Marines or Kaido. She wasn’t scared that he’d attack the crew or murder her in her sleep.

No, this was a very different fear. One that was harder to explain, but the serious expression on Luffy’s face gave her hope that he would understand.

“Don’t get me wrong; you’re a good guy, and I’m forever grateful for what you did for Law. As a person, I like you just fine. It’s just…you’re reckless. I’m scared that you’ll drag my captain into something he can’t get out of. And I’m even more afraid that the crew and I won’t be able to help him because he’s left us behind again.”

Ikkaku tried to hold back the bitterness that swelled up at the thought of Law teaming with the Straw Hats while sending his loyal crew to Zou. It wasn’t their fault; they had no idea and shouldn’t be blamed for it. Hell, though she’d found the idea of allying with them stupid, the whole crew had grown on her.

That’s why she needed to get this out in the open. Whether they were allies or friends or whatever, if this was going to work, Monkey D. Luffy needed to understand her concerns.

She sighed, fiddling with one of her curls out of nervous habit. “I’m afraid, because Law’s spent years keeping us out of trouble with his meticulous plans. He chooses his allies and enemies with equal care. You’re the exact opposite. You charge headfirst into things, and yeah, it’s worked out for you so far, but…you’ve made three out of the four Emperors your enemy. And since we’re associated with you, that means they’ll see us as an enemy, too. I guess what I’m trying to say is, Law forming this alliance with you puts my nakama in danger. And that terrifies me more than anything.”

      So that was what it was. A fear of a fellow nakama for someone precious to them, someone they considered family. He had encountered that fear on Sabaody two years ago when he realised he was too weak to protect his nakama. However, that time was long behind him, wind continued to blow into his sails and he had kept moving forward. All of them did. Everyone should. 

      There was no sunshine smile, no joking tone in his voice, only seriousness and undertone of irritation. “Don’t you trust your captain?” A few second silence followed, determined eyes stared her down, distance closed with a few steps. “Torao is the captain of your ship, you’re all his responsibility. Doubting his orders and decisions means doubting him. Teaming up with us, going to Dressrosa, having you wait at Zou... those were decisions he considered right.” 

      Her concerns were understandable, her wish to keep Torao safe expected. He understood those wishes, but just as she wanted him to understand her, she had to understand him as well, understand that his alliance with them wasn’t a joke to him. 

      “You have to understand we’re pirates. This is not a game.” Zoro’s words he took to heart after his fight with Usopp. There was time for games and there was time when people had to face their fears face to face. “I am the man that will become the King of the pirates! How can I call myself that if I fear those that stand at the top!?”

     Loki should not have said a single word. The bounty, the name, should have been enough to stay the hell away. And yet here he was, in the same scenario, as so many years ago. Not the same words, no, certainly this one was far less polite. He was standing with some damn Monkey. Somebody stab him in the eye again, he wants to be blind. His expression, usually blank had the slightest of emotion leaking through, with the curling of his top lip, staring at this Monkey with disdain. At least this one wasn’t calling him a female…Or old snake. 

      He wasn’t getting out of this.

      “ …You are very rude. ”

      That was all Loki let slip between gritted teeth, before taking one step back, away. How strong was this one in comparison? No, how fast was this one. Did he have the same devil fruit? Highly unlikely. How many others had this one dragged in to a circle of ‘ friends, ’ nakama, as this one states. These damn things always brought out the worst and the tired of Loki, why? He didn’t know. And now as he turned around…

      He was running away.

      That wasn’t the first time Luffy had been called rude, as a matter of fact it wasn’t even surprising at that point. Though, Luffy didn’t care. He had a goal in mind, felt that this individual before him wasn’t just one person, something similar to what he felt with Teach but still not exactly the same, and reasoned that no one wants to be alone. And this guy felt like he was all alone.

      It didn’t matter if he refused now, it didn’t matter if he ran away, eventually he would become Luffy’s nakama. It brought a slight smile to his face, all of his nakama tried to keep him away or told him no. Look at them now.

      He would admit that simple running wouldn’t catch this guy, he was darn fast! “Shishishi!” If he wanted to play a game of tag, Luffy would indulge him. “Gear second!” The blood was pumped into his arm and the smoke quickly started to evaporate from his body. Weird guy wouldn’t be able to keep up with him now.

      “None of you know how to properly make nakama.” Do they even go on adventures together? What about fun? Fighting yonkos together? Banquets? 

      “Shishishi!” The grin was there, the familiar mischievous blazing in his eyes as Luffy stood before Drake, a detective his grandpa approved of. It was time to test if the rumours were true, and he wanted to share his experience later at school.

I’m trying my best to follow canon and Luffy’s way of thinking, sometimes lack of thereof. He’s got this nice bubbly energy about him that I really vibe with so coming up with silly things isn’t that hard. Though I must say I’m also a sucker for serious Luffy, which he can be when needed. He’s still a fresh muse so I do look forward to see how I’ll develop him further and see what might change!

Pardon? Luffy is interesting no matter how you look at it. He may be irritating to your muse with constant need to get into trouble, or perhaps to the mun his overpoweredness may come as irritating, which is valid. I will be the first to say that I call bullshit on many of Luffy’s victories but at the same time, what do we all expect from a shonen protagonist? So I don’t think he’s uninteresting, perhaps he might just come out as triggering. There are things about Luffy that trigger me, but I never found him uninteresting? Am I answering this wrong?

What inspired you to rp your muse?

Impulse. A few friends recommended taking a new muse to balance my mean bean Vergo. When thinking of who I should take, Luffy barged on doors of my humble home, broke them down and said “From today on, we’re nakama!” I never had a say in this, really.

What keeps your inspiration going?

People! I’ve met many wonderful people here on tumblr (I knew many from my Vergo blog) but met many new ones for the first time! I love throwing ideas and plotting, or just letting the muses drive, but honestly Luffy always has some ideas in his brain to make everything interesting.

I do, but only when it’s genuine and given with good intentions. Obviously, I don’t know what mun and muse think of my portrayal unless they tell me: is there something that might trigger them, is there something they think is over the top? I am interested in such things and other opinions, but at the end of the day it’s my portrayal so I call the shots :P

Do you like questions, which help you explore your character?

Absolutely! It’s always nice to explore questions I might not think of or just see what interests people in my portrayal. It’s fun and gives me chance to dive deeper into the character which is always good.

If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why?

I mean yes and no? I won’t change my headcanon but I’m always interested to know why specifically they disagree. Discussing is fun if it’s done civilly, but at the end it’s my headcanon and we’re all allowed to have our own opinions. 

If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it?

I don’t pay mind to it? We all take muses to portray them how we want to, not how anyone else wants us to portray them. If someone is unhappy with my portrayal they’re free to unfollow, no hard feelings and no offence taken from my side. 

If someone really hates your character, how do you take it?

It’s all cool. Not everyone is going to love every character, and while Luffy is popular, there are some things that make his character that may irritate someone. Sometimes we end up loving a specific character thanks to the mun rping them, so if someone dislikes or hates Luffy maybe I can change their view on him? Sounds kinda arrogant but it did happen with Vergo so yolo! If they still hate him that’s cool, we are all entitled to our opinions.

Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors?

Naturally! English is not my first language, it’s my third as a matter of fact, so mistakes may happen! Even though most times I notice the mistake myself as well and end up cursing because I haven’t seen it in time XD

Do you think you are easy going as a mun?

I think I am! I’m really open to talking with people, plotting, joking, throwing some hcs and ideas around or just chatting about anything really! I’m an extrovert so I love meeting new folks and getting to know them and their characters. I’m a joker at heart and those who have talked to me or know me better can confirm that lol

      Luffy had no clue at which town they were currently, Nami demanded they stop and restock. Sanji also claimed he needed to buy more food, which was naturally good. Seeing as he had nothing special to do and was bored out of his mind, Luffy decided to explore. His crew already knew they wouldn’t be able to stop him so they all went their way to do what had to be done. 

      Approaching people wasn’t hard for him, he always wanted to make new friends and meet new people. The green haired lady piqued his interest and small talk was coming naturally, he was his cheery self until he heard her words and went silent for a moment. 

      Luffy turned around, hearing the exclamation on the object he held dear to heart. The straw hat Shanks gave him held many memories and most importantly a very important promise he planned to keep.

With June 1st my three months of college exams (yes, 3 months of college exams) are officially starting. With that in mind, my activity, while it’s always sporadic but at least consistently sporadic, will be even less frequent. I’ll probably work on replies when I’m chilling and in the mood to do so, so please don’t get offended if I don’t reply to you specifically when I do come online.
