Honestly, to Jackson - it didn’t matter of the apology or the thanking that came from Thor, not when he was completely irritated by a presence that clearly didn’t appre- ciate snark or sarcasm in the slightest, but if he was going to void that from his speech, then essentially he would have to become mute especially when such ways of speaking had become etched into his vocabulary on the daily. The agent had always been annoying like that but never to the extent as it had been in the last few years since his wife’s passing, a defense mechanism that he didn’t even recognize flourishing from softened lips that made him happy; it wasn’t as if anything else, asides from his work, could bring a smile upon his chiseled profile anymore. Turning towards the God and halting his motions, Jackson only allowed a shrug to lift upon muscular shoulders, a small grimace etched into his profile that showcased he was remaining in silence - the only way he felt that he wouldn’t piss off Simba was if he remained unable to talk, right?

Thor wasn't sure why no words were spilling from opposing lips, he had offered him an apology and explained that he wasn't particularly used to sarcastic and snark-laced words being thrown in his direction, wasn't that enough for him to understand that he didn't intend to lash out and become defensive as much as he did? Clearly not, considering he now seemingly refused to say a damn word to him and the God had no idea WHY. Okay so maybe he had taken thing a little too far, maybe he needed to work on telling the difference between playful words and insulting words before he started putting walls up and getting offended and defensive over things that were never meant to cause hurt, anger or upset. "So now you won't say anything? You're going to stand here in silence? I apologized for understanding you wrongly, what more should I do? I took things too far and I understand that now, but I do not understand why you refuse to say anything now. I won't...uh, what's the phrase you use here -- bite your face off?"

‘—— hey. I’m just fucking around with you, grow a fucking sense of humor.’ Jaw muscles clenched as his touch was shoved away, not expecting the hostility that was suddenly sent his way, Jackson previously under the assumption that Thor knew he was being sarcastic but seemingly not; snark was a part of him, encoded within his DNA and unable to become shifted any time soon and it was rare that most people couldn’t handle it, but seemingly? The God was now an exception to that rule, and it almost hurt, especially when they were supposed to be a team. ‘Don’t you DARE talk to me about respect when I’m only being snarky with you, huh? God or no God, you should know me calling you a damn cub in a cape or scoring you eight out of fucking ten ain’t an insult – it’s just me but fine, you have a problem with that? So be it.’ Shaking his head in disbelief, Jackson then allowed his pistol to become placed back in its holster, frame then walking away from Thor in order to exit the building they had been fighting with and ultimately? Creating distance, preferably millions of miles away if the agent could damn help it, scoffs of disdain surging from his twin-flesh upon doing so.

"I do not appreciate...snark of any kind. Whether we are supposed to on eachothers side or not, that does not make you any different." With a growl escaping his lips, Thor only turned around to watch as the other man began walking away, raising a hand to push blonde tresses away from his profile before letting a heavy sigh become audible at how this situation had turned out. He wasn't FROM here, he had no idea how to handle snark of any kind and he let most things go way over his head, he had just helped out and expected some sort of praise but of course, Jackson's words had come off entirely wrong and Thor had assumed it was insults all round. Perhaps he had taken things way out of context, maybe he shouldn't have taken it personally and maybe he should have just stood back and laughed along with him, but instead he had yelled and demanded respect. Feet padded along the flooring towards the agent before another heavy sigh became audible once he had caught up to him. "I-I thought you were insulting me...sorry. Thank you for stopping the one I missed."

‘You know you’re really uptight. Maybe that’s why you missed one –’ With a playful grimace then directed towards Thor, the brunette couldn’t help but scan over the bodies that had been decimated - if one goon had managed to rise in order to shoot against the God, then what if there were others? Jackson had a feeling in his veins that wasn’t the case, he had seen what damage the hammer had done to those that stood in opposing way and ended up becoming nothing but dust as a result, but it was better to be safe than sorry, right? He would rather spend a few minutes checking over each thug in ensuring they were DEAD then turning his back and receiving a bullet in the brain – it strangely wasn’t something he desired right now. Once done, the agent then allowed his frame to saunter back towards the male that was supposed to be on his side, snark then laced in full force as hand rested against opposed shoulder, blue orbs glaring towards the features that were much taller than his own as the mocked sympathy upon his profile stood strong. ‘It’s okay, man. We all have our off days, yeah? We can just call this a blip and forget all about how much of a loser you are – I mean, how AMAZING you are. It’s just a blip, yeah? You’re gonna be okay.’

Thor was becoming increasingly annoyed with the man opposing him, not exactly appreciating the fact that he seemingly felt the need to check over the people he had just taken out left, right and center, sure so one guy managed to get back up and try to take a hit at him, but that didn't mean there would be anymore. He could handle situations like this just fine, he didn't need the agents help and he sure as hell didn't need him patronizing him every second he was trying to HELP either, only forcing his anger to heighten tenfold as he glared towards Jackson, growl spilling from his lips as he then shrugged his touch away from him, not wanting to be so close to him and he certainly didn't want to be around him anymore if he was going to act the way he was right now. "You are unbelievable. I am a GOD, you treat me with respect especially when I go out of my way to help you. I am no loser, I just took out all of these losers without breaking a sweat, I do not need YOU to pat me on the shoulder and tell me I will be fine. Enough."

Brows raised upon noting the God seemingly dealing with all the thugs that were prepared to destroy them, almost surprised that the mighty hammer could deliver the powerful forces that it did, not that he was j e a l o u s when his trusted pistol sufficed just fine; but he had to give Thor some credit, right? With a small hum pooling from plump lips, Jackson then allowed his frame to walk towards the blonde, words of how he had done good prepared to leave into the atmosphere before darkened orbs suddenly noticed a shifting upon the ground, a goon rising from the ground with rifle in hand in preparation to shoot the one that thought him- self so worthy; something he dealt with instantly with a raising of his gun, shooting point blank and once against the forehead of the unknown that wouldn’t even matter, DEAD. ‘You missed one, Simba –’ Words were stated with a patting against Thor’s shoulder, smug to the nines. ‘I was gonna give you top marks, it’s a shame. Eight out of ten for effort though, huh?’

Thor was mentally kicking himself for not having noticed the one he had seemingly left someone out and now they had tried to sneak up behind him to catch him off guard, actually thankful that the other male was still here and noticed him other- wise he might have ended up getting a bullet through his head, not that he would admit that he was  grateful for Jackson however, he needed to keep up the whole image of being able to handle this whether with him or on his own. A scoff fell from his lips as he shook his head, not even feeling fazed by the chances that he could have ended up  being taken down by one left over, it wasn't the first time it had happened so he was kinda used to it, blue orbs merely just staring towards the agent opposing him. "Eight out of ten? I miss ONE person and I get a small eight out of ten? And I am not Simba nor a...cub in a cape!"

‘God —- okay. Well don’t let me stop you, yeah? I’ll just stand here being my boring human self whilst you kick some ass, oh Lord and Savior. Go on, I’ll try not to step in and help, I mean – interfere with my mere mortal skills.’

Without offering another word, Thor then moved himself away from Jackson so that he could DEAL with the problem that they were hiding out from, hammer in hand as he threw it and smacked it against anyone who dared come in his way, refusing to stop until every last person who was in here was no longer standing. He had become used to such chaos, he was here to try and prevent it, so this was nothing to him, he was a GOD after all. After a while, he was positive about getting everyone before turning back to where he knew the other man was with a smirk upon his profile. "----what was that about being nothing but a cub in a cape?"

‘Don’t try and be a HERO all on your own. I’m perfectly capable of sticking it to these mutts, huh? Even if I have to do it with a cub in a cape…’

"A cub in a cape? I'm no CUB, I am a God! You say that you're capable and yet you're here hiding out, I can go out there and get them, I can take them all down on my own and we can get out of here."

‘Why the hell did I come to mind? What shit you got yourself into that I’m the only one you can TRUST?’

"Because you barely know me, therefore there is nothing you can hold over my head or threaten me with like most people I know, so yes, you're the first who came to mind."

‘I’m honored.’ The smug smirk against opposed profile only became wider as Carter took the shoves that were offered against his frame without faltering, not allowing Thor to garner any upper hand if he were to become ANGERED, it would have been easy to do so just like their first meeting but right now? He was going to be annoying as hell. ‘Like I said, T, I ain’t going anywhere. It’s gonna be me and you FOREVER, baby —- ain’t that just bliss?’ With a small mused chuckle, Carter bridged the gap once again, palm then reaching forward in order to cup against opposed cheek, the urge to slap strong but he was tamed…for now. ‘I’m petty and you’re pretty, it works so well, T!’

Swatting Carter's hand away as he reached up to touch against his cheek, Thor then grabbed onto opposing throat to lift him high up in the air, forcing his feet to come up off the ground as he scowled towards the man within his grasp, truly becoming incredibly annoyed by his constant irritating words and actions that he seemed to be reaching a boiling point with his own anger now. "I will not hesitate to throw you so far from me that you won't even think of returning. I told you NOT to test me and yet you continue to push the boundaries, I can't tell if you think you're being tough or if you're just plain IDIOTIC."

‘Sorry, did you just call me pretty?’ Carter was well aware of what was actually stated, but the urge to confuse and frankly ANNOY Thor was at an all time high, never knowing when to drop the ball and quit more often than not. ‘No need to push me away, baby, I’m right here. I’m not going ANYWHERE.’ Sly smirk printed against fuzzed features, the rent-boy then allowed his frame to be bridged towards the God once again, preparing for the others next move if there was one.

Yet another harsh shove was pushed upon Carters frame with a heavy growl sounding into the surroundings, Thor's annoyance now at an all time high since the mere presence of the opposing male was driving him insane, causing him to become incredibly pissed off as he shoved yet again against his physique. "You are the most annoying human being I have ever encountered in my life! Petty, not PRETTY."

‘N’aww, baby, please! Don’t be like that –’ Pursing twin-flesh, Carter then allowed kisses to become offered into the air for Thor, completely mocking judging by the smirk that was threatening to make itself known; striving to piss off the God more and more as the sec- onds rolled on.

"You're even more PETTY than the rest of them." Carter's antics were truly beginning to piss Thor off, therefore with an audible growl, the God then extended both hands so that his palms could shove harshly against opposing frame, scowl etched upon his profile as he done so.

‘Course you will, buddy, and I’ll kick you in the face again, huh? I know how much that PISSED you off last time. Guess it still stings inside, yeah? Shame.’

"Your mere PRESENCE irritates me, do not test me."

‘You should know by now I don’t back down from your THREATS. You might be a God, but I’m me, huh? I ain’t going down without a fight, especially when you wanna be a god damn cunt all the time.’

"You do not want to get into a fight with me, you wouldn't last very long and I'm more than positive that I could and WOULD destroy you."

‘—- when you’re sleeping, I’m gonna cut all your fucking hair off, huh? You’re such a damn ASSHOLE; its untrue.’

"You leave my hair alone or you will deeply regret ever coming near me!"
