Samah’s elderly mother passed away yesterday. She had been suffering from broken bones, bedsores, and infections. Samah and her daughter Hamsa evacuated to Cairo but had to leave the rest of their family behind, and now they have lost someone so dear—Hamsa calls her “the most loving person in my life”.
They’ve been fundraising for months and have only received €6433 out of €30 000. Please hear their grief and have compassion.

Did you forget me? Did you forget my family? I feel ashamed to always remind you that my family still needs you and that the war is not over yet, on the contrary the situation is getting worse, my sister's children lost weight because of the famine now in Gaza. There is no food because the Israeli army closed the crossings and prevented food from entering.. and if there is food, the prices are unbelievable, please do not forget my family, they have had no income for more than a year.. their only income is this donation link. You’re my only hope, I don’t want to lose the rest of my family..”
