I know, again, minecraft did it first (technically, I made this blocks before they published the update, I swear) but since there are no mud blocks in minecraft 1.18.2, I’m safe, am I not? Also, I still think these textures are cooler, fight me.

Anyway, here you have the mud block, the dried mud, and the mud bricks!

Snow and ice are really cool materials, but there aren’t enough variants to build cool and detailed... idk castles? Sure! Now you have sculpted and brick variants for that! 

To craft this new blocks you’ll need to use the stonecutter, no other way for it, sorry! But that way the stonecutter gets more uses and importance, which is my aim after all.

What are you going to do with all that dead bushes that you have definitely gathered using a silk touch tool? /j Well, pack it all together and get a block made out of it! I think it would look cool in a deser farm, don’t you?

I know minecraft is giving us a bamboo block in the 1.20, but I created this block texture way before even thinking about making this mod, so they copied me for sure /j. Anyway, I think this block looks better than the one they are giving us, so bamboo block for y’all!

What if cactus but actually usable as a building block? Huh? What about that? Anyway, get some cacti and start building!

Flintstone is a block that can be crafted with cobblestone and flint. It has a shinny look to it and can be used to make variants such as smooth flintstone, flintstone bricks and chiseled flintstone bricks. These blocks also come with stairs, slab and wall variants.

But this is not all, because using the mortar and pestle and gravel in a crafting grid, you can get flint more easily than ever, instead of spending hours placing and destroying gravel blocks.

Black goo is a material made by crafting coal dust and sap, which can be used as an alternative for coal, burning just as long (8 items). 

Coal dust is made by crafting coal or charcoal with a mortar and pestle, and its crafting produces 9 of it, making any coal stash long for longer than it would otherwise.

As of now, neither coal dust nor black goo have a use in crafting new blocks, but that will change soon ;D

Sap is a material made by crafting saplings with a mortar and pestle, and it can be used to craft sap blocks and other materials that will be talked about in further posts.

Sap blocks are a nice orange with a simple pattern, which can be used as decoration. But theres more! Because this blocks are a bit sticky, not like honey, but sticky enough to help players gain traction and get a small speed boost when walking on top of it.

Hi, my name’s Leaf (they/them) and a few weeks ago I started working on a minecraft mod for the 1.18.2. My aim with this mod is to add many new blocks that use in-game resources so that things like flint and cacti have more uses. 

As a builder at heart, I always feel like I need more cool blocks and unfortunately I’m not that big on adventuring or resource-gathering, so cool blocks seemed to always be just out of reach. Not anymore tho, ‘cause with this mod I set out to add 2.000 new blocks to the game using resources such as snow or stone, adding much more costumization and building options!
