My dad has generated a bit of extra revenue by shopping garage sales and finding things like this #Beatles album. While mom is resting--I am having fun looking going down memory lane. Any idea what one would pay for this? (at dad's studio)

I have this belief that my dad was one of the original foodies. Growing up in the Bronx-the meal table was the connecting piece of his family. His mom rubbed off on him-even today he studies recipes and tries all sorts of amazing foods. He actually quite the bread maker too! So-he got this brine recipe and gathered all the ingredients to brine our nice bird. Just the aroma of the combination of ingredients helped create this day---where mom lays in her bed ---here in the living room/kitchen area---a memorable one---indeed. Thanks so much to all of of you for your kindness to care and pray. The one thing I know today will bring is family, thankfulness and an amazing turkey as we #gatheraround ...happy thanksgiving y'all😄 (at moms house)

#thankful to be here. With her. Thankful to my husband and the farm team to take over so I could fly out today and spend what are possibly her last moments. I want to touch her, lean in and hear every little barely audible word that has to do with---not sure----I want to smell her, watch what her hands do and to give thanks for who she is --- my mom. I told Michael the other day that the hardest thing will be not hearing her voice say,"I love you,Lylah." You see the past few months I hear those precious words many times---and you see---those words were something she never could express ---pretty much the whole of my life to me. In spite of that --- her love broke through in different forms....and the legacy my mother leaves me that I deeply cherish has to do with the table. Most nights she cooked. She would scoop me up and bring me in the kitchen and we'd prepare the meal together. And then she gather her family around the meal table... She gave that table worth, value and dignity. It meant something to her---it means something to me--then and now. I am truly thankful to be here and be with her. (at moms house)
