COTBG is really thriving now. Someone used AI to merge my artwork, created some AI garbage, and got several times more views than me.This person has so far continued to play dead—blocked me and deleted my comments.
Besides the first image that was clearly fused by AI, there is another one that I'm not entirely sure about, but it's highly suspicious as well.
Points that are highly suspicious:
1. The hair fringe trend and shadow placement on the left and right sides (especially the left side) of his image almost perfectly match my original. The shadow under my left fringe appears to have been misinterpreted by his AI as individual strands of hair.
2. The template he used clearly shows both eyes wide open, yet in his AI-generated piece, the right eye is closed. This is most likely because the right eye in my original is covered by fringe, causing the AI to fail to recognize it.
3. The head size in his template is noticeably smaller, but in his AI output, the head is significantly larger—and it roughly aligns with my original when overlaid.
4. The AI seems to have failed to recognize the fold/curve of the veil on the left side of my original. By overlaying the images, you can see that this resulted in a distorted shape at roughly the corresponding position in his generated piece.
5. There's a faint sense that the hair rendering style in his AI image resembles mine. The piece that I explicitly had fused was in a flat coloring style, yet his AI output features hair that looks somewhat like my earlier semi-impasto painting style."
6. When the left-side fringe in his image is fully aligned with that in my original, it becomes apparent that the brow angle in his image exactly matches the eye angle in my original. However, in the template he used, the brow angle is not shaped this way at all.
