IT IS WRITTEN: a collaboration between The Entrance Store, an avant-garde clothing shop in Bucharest, Romania and The Type Collective, IT IS WRITTEN is a an in-store exhibit which enhances clothing of cult status as objects of worship to its martyrs: the customers. The installations and theme were commissioned for the FW13 Launch Party. The Type Collective's choice was to establish a spiritual relationship between the customer as the worshiper, the garment as an offering and testimony to its creator, and the salesperson as its priest. This was done by creating several mechanisms: the Doctrine (four in-store digital projections designed in collaboration with Jamie Boulton, written by Alex Beltechi); the Altars, the Wind Instrument, the Canvas, the Banners (phrases from the Doctrine drawn by Andrei Ogradă) and The Decalogue (designed by Alex Beltechi and Vlad Neuman).
