Okay, okay I sound crazy so please hear me out.

Ever since he was a child he had to eat disgusting amalgamations of rotting foods to get by as a street rat and he learned to get used to picking around the food to find what was somewhat safe for him to eat. That stuck by him for the longest time up until Yue Qingyuan found him again. Now, he is a rich head disciple and suddenly he notices that the rest of the disciples can afford to throw food away. He hates it of course, I mean don't they know how much he would've struggled for their scraps? But he also feels the insane need to raise himself up - even if it would hurt him.

So no matter how good the food is or how hungry he is he refuses to eat all of it because now he has the luxury of throwing things away and being hungry without it being a life or death situation.

When I first started playing the game I loved her - not as much as the others, but she was still special to me. Then once I started to unlock the side stories I realized that she was getting on my nerves. Specifically in respect (the side story between Monika and Natsuki) because she seemed incredibly biased the entire time and didn't seem to grow from it like Monika did. It frustrated me because it was hard for me to understand how she couldn't see how she was being hypocritical because she always talks about how she wants people to respect her interests, but doesn't want to do the same for Natsuki.

I knew that disliking her for this was sort of stupid, but I couldn't help myself (I have a friend like that who I'm pretty sure likes treating me like shit for my interests so it hit harder for me). However, after I unlocked the side story reflection I realized that I actually did like Yuri and just wanted her to grow the entire time. The beginning of reflection was pretty rough, but I was really happy to see Natsuki figuring out her own hypocrisy and realizing she could've worded things better. Then in part 2 of reflection all the love I ever felt for Yuri came back full force and I exploded. The entire story helped me remember that Yuri and Natsuki are parallels of each other and both experience a similar array of emotions. Like how they both get defensive, how they want respect, and how they were bullied for their interests. I really like Natsuki so Yuri being mean to her in the side stories made me mad at her, but after reflection I realized that disliking Yuri would be like disliking a slightly different Natsuki.

Omg this took me SO long. I made so many mistakes when making this specifically with drawing in the correct layers! I drew two backgrounds, but I couldn't tell if either was good so I just went with the first one lol.

Like cats out of the bag and LQQ realizes he was lowk in the wrong and apologizes, but no matter how sincere he is he still can't stand the guy and SJ hates him more now that LQQ is trying to apologize.

LQQ, kowtowing and bringing several dead demon carcasses to SJ door: "I'm sorry, I was wrong. I swear on my honor that I'll fix this."

SJ: "Get off my peak."

LQQ: "omfg."

This goes on for a while and they still get into fights (somehow more frequently) and to SJ the fact that LQQ still manages to treat him the same even though he knows his "weakness" actually makes SJ start to like him a little. LQQ starts getting interested too because he lowk always was interested, but he was too emotionally constipated to figure it out.

Then like a couple years of situationship later they manage to fumble themselves into a marriage and almost nothing changes except for the fact that they understand eachother better and love each other.

LQQ, apologizing for something (he doesn't know what, but it upset SJ) : "I'm sorry, I love you, but what did I do?"

SJ: "Disgusting, get off my peak."

LQQ: "omfg."
