Netflix Expands Acclaimed Film “Beneath the Surface” Into a Limited Series — Plus an Immersive Retail Experience for Fans.

Following its theatrical success and emotional impact, Beneath the Surface returns as a four-part Netflix limited series, delving deeper into the rugged lives and quiet romances of an underground sewer crew. To celebrate the release, Netflix is launching Surface Supply Co., an immersive pop-up retail experience inspired by the show’s iconic aesthetic. Located in a converted industrial space, the store features actual workwear and set pieces used during filming—mud-slick boots, hi-vis coveralls, rubber gloves, and helmets—each worn by the cast. Visitors can browse gear, view cinematic stills, and explore a fully built-out basement event space that echoes the atmosphere of the tunnels themselves. With gritty textures, atmospheric lighting, and curated storytelling throughout, the pop-up invites fans to step into the world of Beneath the Surface like never before.
